In the past month and a half I have bought a shit load of instrumental/post rock music. I'm going to see Sigur Ros on May 3rd at Benaroya Hall in Seattle...I can't wait for that.

Mogwai is dope as fuck. Both them and Pelican (really dope too) are going to be playing shows in Seattle in the next month. I'm going to try to hit up both. Pelican is playing with Mono which is another really great band.

Thanks for the recommendations to everyone that gave them. Since I started this post I now own every album by, A Silver Mt. Zion, Godspeed!, Mogwai, Mono, Explosions in the Sky and Pelican lol.

That Red Sparowes album is fucking amazing Smurf....good looking out.

I just bought some Dirty Three albums and a couple Hella albums and they are both dope too.

If anyone has any more suggestions let me know. I just worked a bunch of over time so this Thursday I am going to have some extra money to blow.

Did you check out Pelican and Mogwai yet DeceptaKhan? If not I think you should...I have a feeling you will really like them. Check out Mono (make sure it's the Japanese group though because there is like five other Mono's and don't worry there is no singing lol) too.

Oh yeah and Sigur Ros show at Benaroya Hall last Wendsday was so sick. They are amazing live. It almost made me forget about not being able to get into the Tool concert the night before.
