Furthermore, the hooks on most of the songs are pretty "meh" and a good 3/4 of the album is the same ol' party-and-or-sex songs that Tech has been doing more and more of since Absolute Power. We get it dude, you party and fuck a lot more and better than everyone else. Good for you. The best music is stuff people can relate to. As none of us here at SFU are rock stars, none of us have millions of dollars and we don't fuck supermodels, regardless of how we might act. No one can relate to that shit, therefore it becomes boring.
Anyone can relate to party music. You don't have to be rich and fuck supermodels to party. He's not even on those tracks talking about his cars or jewelry, he's rapping about getting drunk. I can relate to that. I don't do shots of hennessey that costs 50 dollars, but still i relate to music about drinking. So do lots of people

So yeah, honestly, I'm disappointed. I know this was a "collabos" and that was the point, but is it too much to ask for a 15-20 song Tech album with no guests and no songs about how much he parties and how many times he's fucked my wife? I'm so sick of guests. Even Everready and Killer had too damn many. And while I think Kaliko is amazingly talented, the songs are all sounding the same because he's on every goddamn hook.
Tech isn't in that dark state of mind anymore. He says it himself, after he almost died in a car crash, he's enjoying life.. every day has been a party.. so that's what he raps about now. It's not like he don't do personal records anymore. The Rain, This Is Me, Can't Shake It, One Good Time, Last Words, Happy Ending ect. I know you want every song to be that way, but Tech is obviously not as depressed as he used to be.

Next Tech album, I don't want a single guest. I don't even want Kaliko doing hooks. I want some shit like Anghellic, where it was just Tech, hungry to prove himself, not trying to showcase all his friends on every song.
It's not going to happen. he's past that point in his life now. This is similar to Eminem. All his fans want him to do the slim shady shit again. He's past being the angry white boy from 8 mile trying to make a name for himself, he has no need to make those type of songs anymore.

I do agree that on K.O.D I don't want as many guests as Killer had, but the subject matter is fine the way it is... and I think Red Nose, and the snippets of In The Trunk and Blackened the Sun are a good sign of what's to come on K.O.D.

I recall Tech claiming he was on some "fuck you type shit", which to me... isn't party music.
