MC2 owns MC1 in my eyes dude

all three rappers sound untouchable on this track, specially tech he can still bust like a mothafucker its amazing
As good as Tech's verse was on MW2, his verse on 1 was still better. Kray was tight, but he didn't kill like I was expecting. The first guy was alright. The beat to two is kinda weak, and i prefer the hook on one.

Now that I think about, I like one better in pretty much every way. MW2 gets points for having Kray, but other than that, MW1 > MW2

I definitely liked the album a lot Sickology>MLK. The only thing that bugs me is the album cover, I love how he got the whole face paint n everthin, but its a total misrepresentation to the album as a whole. Other than that midwest choppers shoulda had twista instead of k-dean, woulda been solid. Album shoulda been called party n bullshit or sum shit like that. Other than those few things a solid album, love it.
oh yea

WOO AERIOLA! WOO AERIOLA! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Yeah I agree, the cover and artwork makes it seem like a dark album, and this is not a dark album.

And if I see one more person say the beat to MC2 is weak!!! Its probably my favorite beat on the album.

On the first listen of this album I thought it was pretty mediocre except for Far Away, which I thought was a stand out track. But now after a few more listens it is a pretty good album.

There were some weak features on there but Tech generally came hard with his verses.

EDIT: On the spelling bee skit, I would of spelled Techs word "whut it iz"

sickology sounds better in my car then mlk . mlk needed more bass imo. mwc2 pounds, let me in pounds.....even red nose pounds.....i needed a good tech cd with good beats that i didnt have too put together myself. for me this is Tech at some of his best since every verse he did is pretty much a feature...which i think he excells @.

so is anyone really gonna take a brave stab and actually review this whole album?
I got some time before my gurl gets here so here we go....

1. Sickology 101: Decent track. Tech and Crooked come pretty sweet on their verses. Like most have already claimed Chino has good flows but for his delivery and style I dont think he really fits the song well. Looks much better on paper than recorded. Hook is not really of my liking but I do like the beat so Id rate this song 6/10

2. Midwest Choppers 2: I think the biggest problem people are having with this song is the title. What I mean by that is I think too many people on here are tryin to relate it too much to the 1st which is wasnt the song is about IMO. Midwest Choppers simply is stating the level the artist on the track are on. From the Midwest and can chop it. If this song had a different title and noone ever put this and MC1 in comparison I think people would look at this song a lil different. IMO I like the verses, I like the beat, but not together as a whole song. I think Tech came pretty hard, Krazie was a bit of a let down but still a descent verse, and K-dean was average. As a whole id rate this song a 5/10.

3. Ghetto Love: Hook is garbage. Cant stand it. Iv heard that tone is too many of Kalikos hooks and Im tired of hearing it. Really makes the song struggle all the way through because I dred the hook coming up. I do like the beat tho, and Tech and Kutty kill their verses. Krizz's verse was descent but def could of done without. Would of rather had another verse from Kutt or sumthin. 4/10

4. Poh Me Anutha: Another kind of filler track and I dont really like the chorus either. Kinda too amateurish. Verses are all pretty good tho. 5/10

5. We Kixin It: Not really feelin it. Beat just sounds like a remix of Like Yeah. Has alot of the same effects. Dont like the features and Techs verse is descent. 3/10

6. Nothin: I really like the beat on this one, but the features made is slack. Big Scoop was nothing to write home about, and Messy which I am a big fan of was a big let down on this song. Mumbles too much and too laid back in his delivery. Another waisted beat on a collabs album which could of been used much better on a solo album. 6/10

7. Let Me In: Very nice beat, I like it alot. Has that west coast/Bay feel to it. Cash Image and D Loc are I guess better than past features but still just sound like any other rapper to me. Techs verse on the other hand I really like. I am growing very tired of his bitching songs of not making it big tho I will say. But I understand his message in this song and its a personal flow. 6/10

8. In The Air: Love this song. One of my favorite of the album. Love the beat, the hook takes a lil getting used to but Im feelin it after a couple listens. All artists come hard on this track. Def one of the better collabo tracks of Techs history. Good shit 8/10

9. Blown Away: By far my fav song of the album. Great fucking beat, love the autotune on the hook and that Tech actually does his own hook for once. Good overall message and flow. And he speaks the truth thru the whole song. Best song on Sickology IMO 9/10

10. Party And Bullshit: Another pretty good song on the album. Tech and Shadow came pretty hard. I love how Shadow added shit from other Strange artists (Bunk Rock Bitch, Sucka Duckas) and he has some funny one liners. Big Ben wasnt bad, can definatly listen to song all the way thru and bounce my head all the way thru. Nice song 7/10

12. Sorry N Shit: LoL Techs verse on this shit is hella funny at the beggining. Makes me laugh everytime I hear it. Techs kills it of course. 57th came pretty good too. I like the track but I dont think the album would lose anything if they scrapped this song and added something harder. 6/10

13. Dysfunctional: Again album could of done without. I do really like Kalikos verse tho. He came pretty good and Tech was good. Scoob again I dont think is anywhere near a teacher of anything Sicc. And the chorus is aight. 6/10

14. Far Away: Awesome song. that steady guitar riff in the back is great. Melody of song is awesome, Krizz kills the chorus (side note: When the FUCK is KABOSH coming!!! God Damnit!! haha) ok back on track, Krizz's verse is awesome. Fucking love this song. That deep grungy type singing Krizz does is awesome. 8/10

16. Creepin: Hate the chorus. Its a playful track tho so I understand it more. Its an alright song. Another filler IMO but its aight. Nothing I would burn to listen to in my car all the time. Reminds of some Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory type shit... 4/10

17. Red Nose: The single. I understand why Tech chose it, but I honestly think he should of went with Blown Away. That BETTER be the next single. But this is also an AMAZING song. I fucking love it, been bumpin it ever since it was first leaked. Especially the lil singing kind of shit he goes off on in the end and the grunts. All goes awesome together. Great song. 9/10

18. Areola: WHOOOO! AREOOOOLA!!!! haha fucking hilarious song. Love it. Makes for a good laugh as the album ends. Never ever thought I would hear a song dedicated to a fucking Areola, but hey leave it to the 816 Boys to bust it out!!! Great song. 8/10

OVERALL: MUCH better complete album than MLK. Features chosen for this album are far better than the last one. Production was average, I do think I was feelin the beats on MLK more than these ones. But this still has much better singles and overall feeling than MLK. Good beat dont mean shit if you got garbage rapping over it. Which is what most of MLK was. This album cannot be judged by one listen. Definatly needs a couple run throughs to get the full feeling and understanding of the album. But overall a good release on Techs part, def gonna hold me over til KOD. If he does this a third time in the future. I would say better production and more upper scale features. Artists who people actually recognize and respect and who we know can hang on Techs level.

So theres my full take on the album. Hope you enjoyed that... and I better get sum props for this shit!!!! LOL

I wouldn't hold your breath on that. They've already let three songs go as a "Single," and with K.O.D. only 6 months away... yeah...

I'll use the template that Theezy used.

1. Sickology 101: Instantly one of my favorites on the album. I've been listening to it since it first leaked out, and it still remains one of my favorites. Tech's verse is straight fire, as is Crooked I's. As many have said though, Chino was the weak link here, though he still held his own. 9/10

2. Midwest Choppers 2: This would receive a 10 out of 10 had it not been for K-Dean's appearance on the song. Krayzie came great on his verse, and Tech went fuckin bananas. I love the beat, it just pulses with subs and sounds excellent, and the snare sounds badass and gives the track a very frantic feel. The hook is very hyper and I really like it. 9/10

3. Ghetto Love: Christ, I can't believe how bad Krizz butchered this beat. I've never had a hook so bad that it completely ruined a song, until now. It's just unlistenable as it is now, and Krizz's verse is very unimaginative. Tech and Kutt came great, but Krizz just makes the first 2 minutes unbearable, and that's the point where I say fuck it and skip to the next. 2/10

4. Poh Me Anutha: An average song. The beat is okay. The verses were okay. The hook is gay. Not really feelin it. 4/10

5. We Kixin It: Mindless track. Very boring and generic. The verses were okay. The beat was boring. The hook was unimaginative. Not much to say about this track, and it definitely doesn't stand out. 4/10

6. Nothin: This was the very first song off the sampler that caught my attention, as the beat was too badass to just skip over. Tech's verse is tight, as is Scooby's (nothing great, but it's decent). Messy was the only one that really disappointed me. It just sounded as if he didn't want to be on the track, and with such a bumpin beat, you need to have a good flow. The hook is okay, not great but not bad either, just a bit simple. Overall another one of my favs. 8/10

7. Let Me In: As I've said before, this is THE weakest song on the whole album. Very boring beat, very boring and annoying hook, and very weak verses. I absolutely dread the hook on this song, though I think Ghetto Love is just a little worse. Very boring and simple song. 1/10

8. In The Air: Badass song. Lovin the beat, it's got a really nice, laid back pace and feel to it. The hook is very simple but it works, and is not annoying at all. The verses were really nice, and it's an overall enjoyable track. 8/10

9. Blown Away: Fucking tight. The beat is great on this track, and though I hate autotune, Tech did an excellent job with it. The hook is very simplistic, but it works. Being a solo Tech song, all the verses are fire, and his attacks on KC and Rakim are very strong and well directed. Another one of my favorites. 9/10

10. Party And Bullshit: Pretty average track. The beat is okay, the verses are okay, the hook is different, not in a bad way but not in a good way either. Overall it's okay. 5/10

12. Sorry N Shit: Dope song. I like it, and being the 57th RDVs, I didn't expect anything less than solid verses, and they all delivered on point. The beat is cool, and the hook is pretty lighthearted and goofy, which is something that is good for a track like this. Cool song. 7/10

13. Dysfunctional: I didn't really care for this track. The beat is a bit simplistic for my tastes, and it just doesn't bump. The hook is pretty boring, and the verses are okay. 4/10

14. Far Away: I really like this song a lot. Pretty laid back and on a bit of a more serious note. Both Tech and Krizz came great on this track, the beat is pretty slow, but it works. I like the guitar on it. The hook is fucking awesome. 8/10

16. Creepin: I kinda like this song. For some reason, I get an Everready/Alpha Dog kind of vibe from it, hook, beat and all. It's pretty cool. 7/10

17. Red Nose: Where do I even begin? THE definition of lyrically sick. This is THE fucking song right here. The beat, the hook, the verses...man, I just can't get enough of this shit. One of the hardest tracks I've heard in a long time, and is a direct tie with MC2 for favorite on this album. I'll even go as far as to say that it's on par with Paint A Dark Picture for me, and that's saying a lot. Fucking excellence. THIS IS WHAT K.O.D. NEEDS TO SOUND LIKE. Period. 10/10

18. Areola: WOOT!! AREOOOOOLA!!! WOOT!! If you couldn't already tell, I fucking love this song. Just the fact that they made such a banger based on such a simplistic subject is an accomplishment in itself. Banging ass beat, badass verses from Kutt, Tech, and Krizz, and the hook WILL get stuck in your head for hours on end. Fucking great. 9/10

OVERALL: For the most part, it's a disappointment for me. Not exactly Tech at fault, but more so his picks for features. All of the names I had never heard before were that way for a reason. The production was disappointing to a certain extent, that meaning that the ones that didn't bang were horrible, but the ones that were good were fucking bangers. There's just no consistency in it. The subject matter was definitely off too. The whole album wasn't meant to be on a serious tone, but there's such a lack of seriousness here that the lead single, Red Nose, doesn't even sound like it belongs here. On the subject of lyrically sick, no, this is not lyrically sick. It's good at best, okay at worst, meaning average to me. The only lyrically sick tracks were Tech's solos, Sickology 101, and MC2. In my opinion, Tech should really concentrate on getting himself out there, and not his KC buddies. Features are cool, they're to be expected on ANY album, but basing a whole album around them when you're completely demolishing all of them on the tracks they're on just leaves a lot to be desired in the end. Hopefully Tech gets it together for K.O.D., but I have a really good feeling about K.O.D. based on the tracks and samples released for it, and it seems to be very positive.
