lol, man. Cam has the most retarded lyrics of any rapper I ever heard. A lot of Detroit cats aint feelin Cam'ron AT ALL, and Im one of them. As far as Diplomats go, I like a lot of their production but the flow is mediocre.

Theres this dude that is a DJ for Hot 102.7 here in Detroit, and right after Cam got shot and did the freestyle on it about "eating bullets and spittin 'em out", dude was like "What the hell is that? Cam got shot THROUGH THE ARM. I can see sayin you ate bullets if you were 50 or Game or somebody, but you got shot in the arm. You dont eat with your arm!" shit had me crackin up.

Then the other day the same dude was like "Alright, Imma cut this song short because Cam'ron has some whack lyrics. This cat will come on the beat sayin somethin like: Whats up Ma/I like your butt/I saw you outside my crib/playin double dutch

and thats about true. Cam is weak.

I just listened to the song again because I noticed the thread was put back up in the lime and because my original reply looked pretty awful.

So my second listen.

The track is still bunk. When you look at how much money these guys are working with and how many connections they have and this is the best they can do, it's pretty sad.

Awful.

This is one tight ass album imo I like this better then the retail version of Purple Haze. Who ever said cam cant flow dont know what they talking about. Just pay close attention to what he be spitting. His delivary is slow but theres meaning behind his lyrics.


The beat on #3 "LEAVE YOU ALONE" is off the scale. Boy that shit knocks I luv the tempo changes in the drums on it.
