Hahaha, some of the matchups are pretty funny. There were a couple that I hadn't seen either movie so I voted by which one looked better to me. Also there were a couple hard ones seeing I really didn't care for either movie at all like The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Vs Empire Strikes Back and X-files Fight the Future Vs Major Payne so I just voted for which one I disliked the least lol.

I haven't seen a couple of the films i voted against, i just chose what was more familiar. I bet most people who voted for The Hustler didn't even watch it, but rather decided against "Children of Men" (decent movie btw),which doesn't sound as cool as The Hustler, i guess.

I've seen both a couple of times and still liked Children of Men more. While The Hustler was very well acted (no surprise when looking at the cast list) I just thought it was boring overall. Then again I'm not a big fan of pool so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Even though I'm not the biggest fan I think Karate Kid does deserve to be because it is a "classic" in terms of nostalgia at least.

karate kid is a classic and had a major impact...yes i nominated it lol...I can still watch it today and still love it the same as when i was a kid....

Major payne did make me chuckle though...other ones i thought didnt belong were:
Blackhawk down,xfiles,john q and me myself and irene

but everyone has different tastes....one thing that amazes me is all the stephen king movies....for all the bad adaptations of his movies people made there were some real gems
