Absolutely not. However, this forum can easily remain the same with more emphasis on Northern Rap, as an homage to what Woodie started...but as far as changing the name, that would be a mistake.

Why would it be a mistake? I haven't paid much attention to this forum since Woodie passed away, but looking around right now I can tell you it doesn't have much to do with East Co Co Records anymore. The only talk of music is Northern rap in general, albums that have nothing to do with ECCR.

I say it should be changed. With all the bullshit that gets posted in here, I don't think they're showing Woodie any respect nor are they paying homage by keeping the East Co Co label on this forum.

I think the point is this forum has turned into somewhat of a disgrace to East Co Co Records because their name is attached to it. If the name changes and the forum remains the same, at least the ECCR name won't be dragged down. Know what I mean?

But another dude brought up a good point. I understand this forum has a lot of great posts from the past, including some by Woodie himself so this board does have some history to it. Maybe a generic Northern Rap forum would be the best idea. Like someone else already said, it would absorb a lot of the bullshit that gets posted in here and should cut down on the homo shit. The scraps are going to show up wherever the Nortenos are posting, so they might as well direct them elsewhere and stop discgracing ECCR.
