Most americanized kids especially now are not mature enough to graduate high school early. I think most kids should actually work a meaningful position in retail or some shit to get themselves prepared in dealing with people and everything before they leave high school.

I think this is a bad idea. Even a child prodigy should stick around through Sr. Year. Kids that graduate early miss a lot, end up being very intelligent adults that are so antisocial, going to the store makes them nervous.

As for everybody else...kids are fuckin stupid as shit these days. They NEED to stay in through 12th grade and learn something. These days, you have "No Child Left Behind", so even the dumbest of the dumb fucks can get a high school diploma. I think they need to make it TOUGHER to graduate. If you don't graduate, oh fuckin' well...that's how it was when I was in school.

ppl should be able to just leave after 10th grade
if you that determined to leave then, there are ways to do it
i think those kids who dont wanna be in HS are them non-social ppl
which is sad cause as bright as they may be they have no ppl skills
i like the idea of the trade school, its a concept that should be incorporated into our skoo systems, it would give kids another idea as too where they want to go.

Is it immaturity or being a non comformist? Is high school a medical center giving treatment? regardless whether they graduate after the 10th or 12th they are still out there in society..hanging out, eating at restaraunts, going to movies, Not everyone matures by the 12th grade and some are prior to the 12th. So your saying they are not mature enough to graduate in the end of the 10th but they are mature enough to work in jobs in which they will be working for someone...and dealing with the public...sounds sort of hipocritical.

What if it was not mandatory and each child had to fulfill a requirement or they would continue another 1-2 years until they do? The effect could be big. I could see kids buckling down and actually making bigger efforts so they could graduate with their friends. If given the choice I would rather bust my ass for 2 years then loligag around for 4. After 10th go to community college. I do not think it hinders their social well being its not like they are being sent to a desolate detention center after graduation...some will go to college where they will be around many people, some will work and be around many people.

Eh, it could be good, but I just don't see it happening. Yea, some will go on to college and some will go to work...but a lot won't do either, I'm sure. If the kid is absolutely serious about moving on in life and doing some shit, that's cool. However, most kids I've seen out here lately aren't determined enough to walk outside, so I doubt they're trying to open books and learn something important.

School is just dumb, with the banning of dodgeball and the belief that nobody in life loses...students are FUCKED! Even if they are smart, they won't know how to LOSE once they get out of HS, whether it's 10th or 12th grade. They will think the world OWES them all a chance at everything...but that's not the way it works. So, I think they need to have a REALITY CHECK class right before graduation that tells them it's quite possible that they won't be qualified to do something...and that they have to accept that shit.
