i think you should give it some thought whether or not your poll is fucking stupid as all hell before you do

ask yourself, is this poll something that everyone can have a varied opinion on?

you just seem to be missing the point of a poll, and doing it for reasons unbeknownst to me
like not everyone gives a shit about who appears at sxsw, actually alot of people dont care

this site isnt centralized in austin and everyone dosen have the finances to go to sxsw to see some half assed rappers who wanna get on

id damn near say 'do you like pizza?' is a better poll. not that you should do something like that. use more thought in it mixerr.

Yes I agree. I am fucking stupid. My polls are fucking stupid. I know the siccness.net isn't centralized in Austin, but SXSW gets more than 75,000 visitors a year. That's a good thing for the Austin economy since we get a lot of visitors. But I can bet that the bigger cities in California wish they had a fest that had 75,000 people attend a year. It's just that ACL and SXSW don't pay musicians well.

I don't ever recall Malik-Bo and Sonny Bo being ever half-assed rappers. What's wrong with Malik-Bo and Sonny Bo? Don't you like them and their music?

I have an important announcement to make!
Mixerr Reviews will shifting its focus onto other topics due to marketing statistics. The music market has changed a lot since I started writing reviews in 2011 and 2012. Marketing statistics have shown the music has switched to the digital market for good. But it's not bad or all good.

Anyway…Mixerr Reviews is now trying to shift away from music and into politics, sports, furniture, health, and food. Don't worry! Mixerr Reviews is not trying to shift away from its original purpose. Music just won't be reviewed as much. I'm not trying to pull an MTV or anything. I'm just trying to get Mixerr Reviews off the ground. I want Mixerr Reviews to turn into a possible job. Stay tuned.

i know sonny bo personally. thats my friend. we have a friendship that stretches way past music. on the topic though, i like his music alot. im not saying you called them that, and im not calling them half assed rappers im calling the majority of sxsw artists that travel there, that.

i probably know malik bo from the hood, i grew up in south east. im not just a fan of SD rap i was born and raised there and know everyone. thats the difference. these are people im friends with.

on topic yeah your polls are stupid bro. im not gonna sugar coat it. just think about it before you do it. i have faith you can change. youll eventually figure out your calling. wish you luck my guy

There's a lot of huge festivals in CA. Bob Marley festival, rock the bells, electric daisy carnival, and probably 10 more that happen yearly that I can't think of off top. Just FYI.

Then you got trade shows in Las Vegas, which is 5 hrs from most big cities in ca. The porn conventions, the tattoo conventions, clothing conventions, etc.

Comic con in San Diego, although not music based, brings in more than that. A lot of musicians show up to comic con because of the exposure granted. Theres quite a lot in California going on yearly.

Sxsw is dope though, I've always liked it. But whether or not someone in CA shows up to sxsw is entirely up to them and it wouldn't matter if we wanted them to or not because 1) we more than likely won't be there and 2) it's not our career, we aren't their managers. It's up to you as a musician/artist to decide that, depending on how much you feel it may play into your advantage or possibly, if you just want a vacation and feel like going to something music based.

Anyways, like I said, just think out your polls. No one really cares that you do them, or if you don't, it would just be nice if they were more interactive and brought up something that interested the posters enough to have a opinion on, that's all I'm sayin gangsta.

And they don't pay well because it's to gain exposure, and that should pay off in the long run personally if you use it to your advantage. Things like that in CA come and go, due to violence in venues, etc etc. lots that plays into that.

I wish you well dude I'm just critical of things and you are no exception. My advice or opinions will help you at the end of the day.

You should do reviews on taco shops/taco trucks. Maybe ice cream trucks
I think you should review random ass shit. Like condoms. Or youtube videos. Just shit that people would get a kick out of and laugh. If you played it right, your ridiculously obvious/simple reviews would be more hilarious and could go far.

I have a 2 hour radio show where knock you off music-sonny Bo-mackalino were co hosting, if you like their music I'll find a mp3 of that radio show and send it to you. I would have put you on my radio show, you just need some direction in the things you do and they'd work out much better.

Toodeloo-keep rockin in the free world, mixerr.
