SAN DIEGO – Two people were shot Friday inside a Chollas Creek mini-mall, a detective said.
A lone gunman opened fire inside the Fan Mart at 1755 Euclid Avenue just before 1 p.m., said San Diego police Detective Gary Hassen.
Police officers found 9 mm shell casings when they arrived at the building and later discovered the gun, Hassen said.
One of the victims was taken to Mercy Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left side.
There was no information on the second person who was shot.
Gang unit detectives were called to help with the investigation, Hassen said.
