it's smarter to not release it as a double disc. can't have all your eggs in one basket. he should release an EP first, so folks hear what new shit he has before a full album. shit, maybe in-between that; him making short "freestyle" raps over beats of what songs are hot now as small teasers.

The dude has so much talent he doesn't feel the need to put out projects and progress in a rap career.

Or maybe he just has a life. As a fan I can't say how he should be doing things creatively. I appreciate anything he puts out.

i think it's more of "i'm investing a lot into this i ain't finna lose money". he probably wants to release things like a proper album, since i doubt he's aiming to be a rap star. he probably doesn't have the time and resources to just throw music around so easily and quickly like the new kids.

We’ve been hearing about a shadow release since 2002, it’s safe to say that shit will never see the light of day. It would have been dope to hear him on some woodie beats from like NE4.

He's been creating lots of dope material over these past few years that he hasn't released... he said that he's just trying to make it as perfect as possible, which is probably why he delays it so much, kinda like Dre's Detox. He said it was almost done and was just wrapping shit up a while back, and said he's planning on a release date of 4/20/2018. He's posted videos in the studio and what he has going is dope, so I hope it comes out sooner or later
