It's not just about France though, it's about Europe in general, they're more open about sexuality and everything else that we're not open about here. Drinking is a perfect example, they don't have kids over there dying in drunk driving accidents like we do here, because they learn how to drink and handle alcohol at a young age. When it comes to shit like this, the Untied States is one of the most anal countries in the world. The government wants to teach people in South Africa about condoms because AIDS is HUGE over there, but they don't want the children here knowing such things. I guess it's going to take a major outbreak for them to want to do something about it, when it's too late.

@ EDJ...check it out buddy...OK, so I got it that we shouldn't encourage children to have sex, I think that goes without saying...all I say is that children should know a few things...one of which is that they can ask their elders any questuions that they may have...another is that with having sex comes great responsibility...and of those responsibilities, it should be known to the child that babies, diseases, and jail time, are all possible outcomes from having sex...see, the thing is, is that in the average everyday childs life they are bombarded with sex, be it through TV, billboards, movies, video games, etc., etc., so in order to direct their ideas about sex in to the general direction that you want them to go, it is up to the guardian to intervene on all of that outside interference, ie. having open and honest conversations with your kid about sex...cause let's face it, if they don't get it at home, they are going to get it from somewhere else...and where/who would you rather they got it from?
