It's true through... the school system paints police as saints for our kids. It indoctrinates them to the system, that police are the good guys - and they are protecting them from the "bad guys."

When in reality the majority of these "bad guys" they are speaking on may be the parents of these kids. These people never committed a crime of moral turpitude - just random crimes that label them criminals.

I try to teach my kids, and nephew more about moral codes, not man made laws. Obviously I hope none of them get in trouble, but its up to me to help guide them, not the school system. They need to be aware of what may be right, might not always be legal.

I don't think most police start there career as wanting to be bad, I'm sure a lot of them have great intentions, but it's like the army, they will mold you to do what the system wants, rather then whats right. I think we need police, obviously crimes of murder, rape, abuse, theft ect need to be dealt with. Its when they stray from these crimes, and try to keep busy messing with people in the community and in poor neighborhoods is when I fail to see eye to eye.
