Anyone who opposes playoffs in ANY sport = NAZI

HaHa I'm with that. There's 6 BCS conferences. Why not have all the champs +2 at large bids? They could play the first round on or around XMas, Second round on or around New Years, and the Championships a week later. You could still have almost all of the existing bowl games still played, just adding a college football "playoff."

Actually, they re-structured the system YET again. Now, every conference is called a "BCS conference (Div-1A)", so the big boppers (Big 10, Pac-10, etc) are now called "AQ conferecnes", or automatic qualifiers....I believe the MWC is vying to be one of those by 2011, if they can get Boise ST and another school into their conference, cuasing them to be a 12-team conference and allowing for a AQ bid.

But i agree...there is a solution for a playoff system, IF THEY SO CHOOSE...however, the Pac-10 and Big-10 school presidents are the ones who BLOCKED a reconsideration of this LAST year....
