I used to hop in the pickup truck and goto commercial work sites and snatch up the huge rolls of copper wire they had "laying around"... Then I would heat up the garage to about 110 degrees with the wire inside and strip it... Then bounce to west seattle and sell it. Last time I checked which was years ago, copper was .70c per pound...

Find a house that's abandoned, or about to be with no residents and have the mail to that address held at the local post office... Goto the gym and steal someone's wallet that has a credit card... Get an ID in the name of that person with the address of the abandoned house... Pick a birth date... Create a random social security number for your state using the SSN algorithm... Find an old bank, one of those banks where the video system is reset every 48 hours... The reason for this is if they're not robbed, it will just get erased, no picture of you... Open up a checking account in that name, ssn, birthday, etc... Use your new ID as the primary form and the visa as the secondary form of identification... Now in a week or less you should have some mail at the post office... You'll have a visa/debit/cash card waiting for you, as well as your pin, some other useless banking information, and your checks... Now get on the internet and start doing fraud... Make sure to bounce your shit through a secure proxy that doesn't log anything... Start out small but large... What I mean by that is have a shitload of people send you money orders for $250 or less. If 100 people send you $250 you just came up $25,000. Think it's hard to scam 100 people out of $250? Think again. The internet is filled with idiots willing to send you money in the hopes of getting a deal... and because it's only $250 and you can choose what you're selling (thus targeting certain groups of people) you can cut down on the chance of someone bitching to the authorities. Find your targets and have them send out the checks... Stay in communication with them every step of the way until you cash their checks... Now you've got tons of mail in a weeks period of scamming people on the internet... Goto the post office, grab those checks and make your deposits. The night drop is a nice way of deposting... Put something over your face for the camera outside which no one is monitoring unless something bad happens that night... Walk to the night deposit and put your money in. Wait for the checks to clear, and withdrawl your cash... 24 hours later, close the account and have the mail forwarded back to the original address... Back at square one... Even though this is not something I would consider a semi-legal hustle... For me, it's easier than baking pie... I grew up doing this before the internet was the internet. It's too fuckin bad I'm 25 and have a conscience.

Well I had a friend that would go to the car auctions and buy a car for CHEAP. Then turn around and sell it in the news papers, or list it online. I mean you have to have some cash upfront, but he would buy buckets at the car auctions and turn around and sell them. My understanding is he made good money doing that.

^^ was just gonna say that. You have to have some capital to start of with to buy the cars, but man, if you learn the game right and are smart, you can make DOUGH. Buy cars at Auto Auctions for 1 or 2 behind book and turn around and sell 'em at book or more. My dad does this for a living and he's ballin.

I used to bootleg CD's.

I used to drive a gypsy cab. Charge people for rides in my car, without being an authorized cab company.

You should be using your radio station job to get your hands on free music then sell that at record stores or online. I know they send you a grip of free posters, slang those on ebay.

LMAO @ MustyNutz... AngryLesbians and IllegalLove.com, hahaha! What I was describing is ultra illegal, these days, that's quite a laundry list of charges state side, and federal... mostly federal... But if done right, the cash comes quick. The biggest problem is getting the fake id post 9/11 and generating an SSN that isn't ALREADY in the bank you choose... Your balls jump into your stomach when they come back and tell you the SSN is already in use... But if you're slick about it, you filled out the paperwork with bad hand writing, and extra bad hand writing on the SSN spot so you can quickly change 1 number that looked like another. for me, that always worked... still scary though, but ya gotta play it cool... but these days the day of walking into a bank if probably over... I mean hell after you get the checks, overnight them to a paypal account setup just like the bank... then transfer that to netteller or another service, maybe do it again just for shits and giggles, then pile that money into pokerroom.com or pokerstars.com or any of those sites, lose or make a couple thousand then request a check... even if the FBI was all over you (which they wouldn't in the beginning, it's going to take about 3 years or so, trust me I know, I was raided when I was 17), they're going to have to spend the time getting 3 paypal like companies based in different states to cooperate, and when they hit those poker companies (who are based in different countries and aren't subject to american law) they'll fall on deaf ears... You didn't wanna see me when I was a teenager... Fuck the law.

DAMN THIS SUM SHIT.

i work at a place where we rent out private mailboxes to people (this way people can recieve mail at a physical address rather than a p.o. box). we sort all the mail ourselves once the post office drops it off. sumtimes people be getting hella bank statement from different banks, they be having all kinds of accounts. i know they be doing shit. usually they only keep the box for about a month then it's goes cold. meaning they ain't getting shit cept junk mail. but sure enough bout 6 months ta a year later the police even u.s. marshalls showing up wanting information on the person that occupied the box. people just luv ta work the system. shit i thought bout it, but shits fucked, all i do is get free mags all day. yadamean.

i'm tryin' ta get into real estate that's where u can get paid. remember kids a house appreciates, a car depreciates. (meaning you can always sell a house for more than you bought it, with a car it's the complete opposite, u alwayz sell for less. unless u get it at cost or put a lot more many into it)

^ That's what the Fake ID is for, so the trail goes absolutely cold for the feds. Fuck them... I'm bitter, they ruined my life... I actually dropped out of high school because they kept telling me I was going to prison... They said: "You might as well drop out of high school and get ready to be ass raped" - Can you believe that? Shit like that got said so many times I just gave up, I figured they would convict me... My punk ass partner snitched on me, I didn't say a damn thang... Dropped outta high school, and stuck my head in the sand waiting for the charges to be filed... THEY NEVER CAME... So till the day I die, FUCK THE GOVERNMENT.

How bout this ol scam. Go to Target when its hella busy (now is perfect because of the holidays) and go pick something kinda pricey in the electronics section. Go around the back of the department and come up to the Electronics counter as if you were approaching it from the store's enterence. Bring your selection to the electronics counter and say you want to EXCHANGE it. Exchange is the key word, a lot of companies dont mind exchanging as much as they do giving refunds. Cash will only further complicate this scam. Plus it will sound more legit, given the fact that you dont have a reciept.

So the guy in Electronics will say something like "well you'll need to go to the customer service desk up front." Then just play dumb and say, 'oh, well I thought since it was bought here I could just exchange it here.' By engauging the electronics worker in conversation about exchanging a product, this gives you an out if anyone asks you where youre going with that merchandise. Just make sure you get the electronics person's name so if anybody up front asks you about it, you'll have a cool legitimate sounding response for them. "Oh, Chad in Electronics told me I couldnt return it in his department, he said I had to go up to the front desk

So now you go up to the front customer service counter with product in hand. Tell them you just want to exchange your product for a different color, or model or something. Just act like youre gonna get the same thing. Since its an unopened package, they wont trip. Tell them you got it as a gift and you dont have a receipt. They'll either a) give you a giftcard with the amount that the product is worth or b) get you the product you want to exchange it for. Either way its a come-up!

Remember to dress and act like a square. Play dumb like you never had to return something before, and your kinda confused about the process. Also, be thankful and nice, act humble.

Also, this doesnt work at Walmart, they have greeters at the door who put a sticker on your item when you enter the store. Different colors for different days. Target isnt that smart yet. Have a happy come-up!
