didnt Nintendo give sony their idea for cd based system? but nintendo gave up cd for the cartrage and wasnt it code name katana? i might be mistaken but i read about Nintendo haveing the technology first and not running with it and thus the downfall of Nintendo
Not sure about them giving Sony their idea, but Sega was initially given the technology of the N64, but turned it down. Early on the N64 was called Project Reality. n64 ran into troubles with game programmers having problems developing games for a variety of reasons, one of the problems being they wouldn't share their micro-code with developers until late in the systems life. So maybe Sega should have jumped at it, who knows.

In 1991, Nintendo hired Sony to build a CD addon drive for the SNES. Later on Nintendo signed a contract with Philips behind Sonys back, thinking their CD-i technology was superior. Sony sued them, then ended up releasing a CD based system on their own which we all know as the Playstation.

LOL 200 bucks is too much for a dreamcast.

30-40 bucks is high end honestly. unless your games are are ikaruga, psyvariar 2, trigger heart exelica, marvel vs capcom 2, or some of the other still expensive to this day games you're not going to fetch 200 for it. not hating, just being realistic.

Even the 2K football series was on point, and for a couple years, it was actually a better football game than Madden.

And, I've been a Madden faithful since Madden '93.

That 2K football series on Dreamcast was fun as hell.

yea dreamcast was dope i liked how the control had the vmu, except i hated the control design it is designed for like a 9 year olds hands.

that shit would be dope nowadays have like 4 player poker local system cause your cards would be on the control screen for like ps3 or 360. i have a disc with all the nes games on it real dope, plus you can do a save state to the memory card, or the game genie codes, i had to use that shit for double dragon cause i could never beat that shit, that cave you go in with the falling spikes after you fight those 2 bald muscle bastards out in the woods

that one RPG was dope the one where you are some air pirate flying around
