That's what I'm thinking. During the system's prime, one of my friend had every single Dreamcast game on burned cds. He had a stack like 4 feet high of cds on top of each other.

MVC 2 is probably the best fighting game ever IMO. Too bad marvel isn't still hooked up with capcom so we could get a part 3 on a next gen console.

Slave Zero and the 3d Sonic were tight. Blue Stinger was ridiculously creepy, though it lacked the controls to be considered a great game.

And let us not forget Shenmue. God, that game made my millennium when it came out. That shit was so much fun.

Oh lord he said it, fucking Shenmue. That game is pure genious, I would love for a part 3, that shit was rumored for a Japan only release but who knows if we'll ever see it. Dreamcast was waaaaay ahead of it's time. If i'm not mistaken Dreamcast was what the xbox was originally supposed to be.

Same here. The sounds in the game were really cool, though.

I had my Dreamcast online. I took it very seriously. More seriously than any other system I've ever owned. I use to have NBA2K and NFL2K tournaments at my house, and would literally spend all my other free time trying to earn enough points to buy every costume in MVC2.

didnt Nintendo give sony their idea for cd based system? but nintendo gave up cd for the cartrage and wasnt it code name katana? i might be mistaken but i read about Nintendo haveing the technology first and not running with it and thus the downfall of Nintendo
