OK.....I haven't really had a chance to check it out until the past few days. I think it's cool.....but I wasn't really feelin' some of the beats. But then again.....you can imagine that me being a beatmaker too I will be more critical than the average fan. I can tell that most of it was done on the Triton....those sounds are played to death. I'm also not really into that "classic West Coast" sound.....like the beat for "Tha Whomp". I'm not sayin' the shit is wack or anything.....because I know some cats love that shit! But to me.....I've heard it all before. I like to hear new shit.....new sounds......new ideas.....new subjects. The album is solid though.....definitely a huge improvement from your older material. There's no reason why you won't be able to push a good amount of units KRIME......so go get that $$$$$$$!

hey playa this is jonathan c and just let me tell you a little somethin. most of those beats were done on the proteus 2000,mo phatt, novation and mpc. the triton played a small part. now me being a true producer, that means being able to play r and b,rap, rock or even singing the hooks and arranging vocals know when sounds are used to death. irv gotti uses only the triton and produces hit after hit. you can make a hit on a casio if you know what you are doing.

ps. D-sane my producer IS NOT BEEFING JUST TELLING YOU WHAT WE USED..

Hmmmm.....I swear I heard quite a few Triton drums on alot of the tracks. And when I say the Triton sounds are beat to death.....I'm really talkin' about the drums. Especially that damn snare/clap.....you know the one. Maybe they just stand out more because I can't stand them? I dunno. Anywayz....I wasn't trying to say your shit is wack or nothin'.....cuz it ain't. Most of it just ain't my flavor. It's clean though....and that's what matters.

Also....it's possible to make heat with the Triton. I still do once in a while. But 90% of the people that own them just use the stock sounds and don't manipulate them at all.....the shit gets old. Especially because ALOT of the underground shit that's out right now is all using the Triton too.....it adds to the played out factor.

I don't know about that Casio shit though....lol. I had a CZ-101 back in the day.....we used it for a makeshift 808 kick.....damn that shit used to rattle the hinges!

A Krime,,,,,, Turn off your caps cuz it makes me think you are yellin at e'rybody. LOL,,,,,,, anyway....I got your L.P. and it has a tremendous amount of Quality!! It definately exercises my low end in the trunk, and for your first album you've done considerably very fuckin well!!! as you grow in this industry, try to be a little more versatile,,, the flow is some what monotone and the tracks are the epitome of WESTCOAST per 1997-8-9......and so forth. But regardless of my opinion, My niggas out here in Brem are willing to give up an arm to meet you!
I give It a 7 1/2 over all.
