IMO, Tales From The Crypt was hittin way harder in the trunk than Setrippin Bloccstyle was. Settrippin had maybe 3 songs that i felt was worthy of bumpin loud with my car windows open, but Tales From The Crypt had all dope songs on it.

Good point. I think Tales definetly does sound good if you have a system in your whip. Never really thought of that but it's true. I still think Setripn and Season overall are better albums though. . .

Agreed. People can say whatever they want about Doc, but the fact is no one sounded like him and as much as he doesnt truly rhyme, he manages to pull it off in a way I've never heard from any other rapper. At least on his older material

season was an instant banger when i first heard it....bloccstyle took a few listens to get used to doc's flow...the fact that lynch produced SODS and Bloccstyle really make it like one album continuing to the next part of the story through another mans eyes...i love everything about bloccstyle from intro to outro and backthrough......

There are certain albums that I felt could have gone together as a double disc. This was one of em. I love em both. Def in my top 10 of all day. But which do ya'll like better? Personally I like Bloccstyle the best. . .

Funny you post this....because I was heading to work yesterday early in the morning and I decided to play Bloccstyle on my Zune. I listened to a hanful of tracks before I got there. I was thinking...if I had to choose between Bloccstyle & Season in a vote...I would choose Bloccstyle. I like the beats a little better. I love Season....but I porbably have played Bloccstyle more...

Doc wasn't that lyrical on Setripn, But if you listen to his other albums he really did get a lot more lyrical. I was bumpin The Documentary the other day and even though the production doesn't fit Doc's style his lyrics really did suprise me. His lyrics have improved every album IMO even if Documentary was basically a EBK4 type of album that was stolen from Cuzz just to be put out. . .

Lynch is a better rapper BUT. If Lynch still did the beats but wasn't featured on any of the tracc's I think it'd still be dope. . .
