Season of da Siccness is the second album from California rapper Brotha Lynch Hung released in 1995. Known for its grotesque and ultra-violent content, it is Lynch's most successful album, having achieved gold status.

It was recorded at Enharmonic, Sacramento, California and is distributed by IDN Distribution. Personnel on the album include Brotha Lynch Hung, Mr. Doctor, Ron Foster, Zigg Zagg, Zoe, Sicx, Hyst, Babe Reg (vocals).

I first heard about it going gold back in 2001 or 2002....I think it was published in the ill tip magazine or some shit... The thing is it doesn't show up in the RIAA certification database. Somebody once said that the reason it doesn't show up on the database is because of it being distributed through a few different distributors or some shit like that, I can't remember.

But I wouldn't put to much into what wikipedia says......they are incorrect on a lot of shit. I remember the Brotha Lynch Hung wikipedia used to say some dumb shit about Lynch hooking up with Master P for the 24 deep album. lol Looks like they final edited it.

He hooked up with Master P for a 1993 EP named 24 Deep, but then went out on his own for his debut solo album

awhile ago i heard that the priority release sold like 300 k and then when ced re released it , it sold the rest making it over 500k and thats why its not certified gold because different barcodes???? just somethin i heard , i dunno though

As much of a classic that cd is theres no way that went gold. 500,000 people didnt know who Lynch was back then lol.

I bought the tape then the cd as well but i didnt think this even sold 100,000. i guess i can see it happening cuz of that but it just dont seem right thinking lynch went gold.

i dont think lynch made very much paper if any off season of da siccness
black market ripped him big time for 100's of thousands
