Fred Jackson wrecks car in reported drag race with Marshawn Lynch

TMZ was first to report that a drag race outside the Seahawks’ training facility between running backs Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch ended with Jackson wrecking his Corvette, first into a planter box and then into a stop sign.

There’s proof of that, too. That stop sign is at the corner of Seahawks Way and Lake Washington Boulevard, not far from the facility.

TMZ cited a witness who said Jackson and Lynch were racing as they left practice. After Jackson wrecked, teammates including Richard Sherman and team staffers reportedly came to his aid.

Per TMZ, Lynch drove away.

Just about that action, boss.

That's pretty fitting for one of our offensive players; couldn't sustain a drive

The nfl salary cap is gay as fuck, both those teams where built from the draft, and should have been able to keep a lot of those players.

I totally agree with this.

I have always wanted to see the NFL move to a system where drafted players weren't counted towards a cap and their salary was determined more like the franchise tag and the salary cap only applied to free agents.

Teams who draft and build well shouldn't be punished by not being able to keep their players IMO.

The cap is there to protect the owners money...which they make a shit ton of. I believe of all the major sports, NFL owners by FAR make the most in revenue and its not even a race. Makes sense that NFL players are some of the LEAST paid (NBA/MLB, obviously) and endure the most short term and long term injuries. Kinda makes you wonder why ANY kid would bother...
