We're probably going to get lashed pretty hard by the Packers lol no lie it could look bad. I'm not tripping though

I was hoping to go 1-1 through the first 2 weeks. Its certainly going to be tough. I had us losing to St Louis and beating the Packers but we are gonna need to make some serious adjustments to do that. I thought St Louis would beat us in a low scoring game, I didn't expect either D to give up 30+.

Russell has got to learn how to throw into coverage better especially with Jimmy Graham. I get the reluctance when you are throwing to Kearse or Baldwin but he's gotta let Jimmy win on the match up from time to time and not wait until he is open like he does with the other receivers.

Some of that will come with experience, he'll learn to trust Graham.

I'm not worried too much about their passing game it really boils down to their defense. There are some big holes so they have to get pressure on Rodgers or else he's going to carve up the left side and the middle. With Kam out, the middle of the field is wide open and the linebackers didn't play very good last week. Williams on the left is basically the same as having Maxwell (who got lit up in Philly!) so he's going to get picked on. None of that matters though if they get pressure, sacks, hits, hurries, all of that can lead to mistakes.

Offensively they need to run the ball well. Chicago had a lot of success with Forte, and they average 5.7 yards per rush against GB as a whole. So fuck, they better get thr run going, control the clock and keep the ball out of Rogers hands. That's how they can win this game - run well and get a lot of pressure on Rodgers.

I almost felt bad for Maxie watching Julio torch him like that haha!

It's funny the Eagles secondary is like Hawks graveyard. Thurmond, Maxwell, Maragos.

I'm happy Maxwell got a great deal, but the eagles overpaid Maxie was just apart of the system that's what made him better than average with Earl and Kam back there, and still he was the weak link (but I wish we still had him).

Perfect. That's exactly what I was hoping he would say when I started the video. The problem wasn't the play, it was the execution. The line absolutely choked. The one thing Brock doesn't mention is there ran this exact same play numerous times throughout the game and every single time they got positive yards. It is essentially their go to play.

I'd also put some of this on Pete Carroll for not calling a time out. The game rides on this one play there is plenty of time on the clock with multiple times outs. Why not use one here to take a quick breather to go over the play? Make sure everyone is perfectly aware of their assignments and have time to really think about what their job is? Mike Holmgren was on the radio and he said he would absolutely call a time out in this situation for exactly this reason. Instead they go right into the play call with no time to think and we say what happened. Maybe a time out doesn't win the game, but for how huge of a player that was you'd think that's the time to use it and go over the play.

Not a surprising loss. The Rams aren't the same Rams they were when it was a garunteed win against them. They've gotten a lot better the past few seasons, and it's definitely showing. It was a good game, though. Congrats to the Rams.

On to the next game.
