Look if I was a seahawks fan I would like the job hes done aswell, you guys have basically made your team out of the draft, much like the 9ers, and credit is deserved there. I just think he was a POS coach at USC and I know winning erases everything so why would u guys care but I just think hes a dirtbag, rant over
He's a dirtbag for winning? Lol

Well college football is a joke. Its so fucking gay there's only like 10 competitive teams and the other 500 teams get blown out every time. If the other team can't score thry should forfeit and should've never stepped foot on the field

CFB > NFL on so many levels
I gotta side with butcher which is why I don't watch college. Only a handful of good teams, it's so unbalanced and unfair. It's hella confusing, not too mention all the BS schools do to get players (they all do it), all the BS that goes into bowl games, etc etc etc.

I get it's cool that these are kids playing their hearts out, the fans are insane, etc. And there are some awesome games and rivalries, But Until there is some level playing field and less chaos I just can't get into it.

The NFL at least every team has a chance. Your squad can be shit for a few years next thing you know Superbowl contenders. Of course the NFL has a lot of problems to, but there is structure at least. I'm sure college will improve more and more in the upcoming years and maybe I'll get into it again some day.

Exactly, there's no parity. Which is also why I don't watch the NBA

Define "handful". What constitutes a "good team" to you? Yes, there 128 FBS teams. Yes, some of them are crap. And yes, the bowl games are out of control. However, they introducing a "playoff" for the firs time this year.

Wait... YOU dont like chaos? I find that hard to believe.

Chaos in sports is great, otherwise its too predictable.

The NFL at least every team has a chance.
I get why this is great, but this also presents no "upsets". Sure, the SD win over Seattle is a upset...but is it really? Do people go "holy shit...THEY WON!!! WOW!! I neve thought in a million years that would happen!!" No, it doesn't becuase like you said...everyone has a chance and you can go from 3-13 to 13-3 LITERALLY in one single year. Its called free agency. Cant do that in CFB...you have to build and coach. On every Saturday, there is at least ONE upset, and its glorious. Watching your team upset another one, is literally like watching winning the SB, and no im not joking. Back in 2009, when UW beat then top 10 ranked USC, i lost my shit. It was amazing to watch. Damn near made me cry.

Also, there is one bowl in the NFL every year....there are 37 in CFB. Its an entire month of just fucking bowls. Awesome.

How about on zero levels.
Nope.

Those little kids aren't built for the game shits boring as fuck.
You do realize that the NFL DRAFTS players from college...right? This statement makes no sense.

Wasnt there some huskies game recently that was like 60 to 57 or something? Who the fuck wants to watch that
Yes, and it was exciting and i fucking loved every single moment of it (mostly becuase we won). Who the fuck wants to watch a 10-7 game on Sunday? Boring as fuck.

I see it like this: CFB is to lightweight, as the NFL is to Heavyweight. Sorry, but id rather see two 140 pound guys absolutely beat the snot out of one another, than two 200 pound guys hug for 12 rounds. Lame.

lolwut

NBA and NFL have about the same amount of parity, but OK. ANY pro sport is going to have more parity over amateur. College has more teams and no money (well, sorta) to buy players and contracts.

Anyhow, i dont expect to change either of your minds. Outside of the Seahawks, i dont give a rats ass about the NFL. I dont watch any other games, i just dont care. They are, for the most part, boring. I can sit down and watch any CFB game, and I do.

That's when you know how good Sherman is if everyone goes crazy because three minor plays in the entire game were successful lol. People acting like he gave up a TD or a 50 yard play or some shit. Couple short passes and one mid range pass Thats it the entire game
Good point 2. This whole hysteria began the week before when the Packers didn't throw toward his side of the field. The sports media then started speculating whether the Chargers would target him. By the end of the game, most reactionary football fans had taken the bait and were taking positions on Sherman. Another great example of sheeple not thinking for themselves. I agree Sherman did not get exposed. He got 5-6 balls thrown in his direction and only 3 were caught. I agree he acted like a bitch by not speaking with the media afterwards because his ego was hurt. But what everyone needs to remember is the game is more than one player or position. What counts is which team won the fucking game. At the end of the game the San Diego Chargers had more points than the Seattle Seahawks. Sherman did not get exposed, his team just lost the game. Which should be a bigger deal to the Seattle fans? I think the loss is the bigger story.

37 bowl games! That's what Im talking about. Who fucking cares about some 6-6 team in a "Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl" or the "AutoZone Liberty Bowl" lol the shit is fucking retarded and no one cares.

Yes theres one "bowl" in the NFL it's called the Superbowl which follows the awesome playoffs that determines the single best team in the entire NFL. Aint nobody care or have time for 37 bowl games.

When I say choas I mean the structure or lack there of doesn't make any sense. All these different rankings, how schools determine who their opponents will be, the conferences, the money that goes into certain teams that surely gets them into bowl games etc etc etc. It's just way too much man.

Yeah Im sure when a 1-12 team or whatever beats a highly ranked team its awesome. But then life goes on and that team continues to suck ass year after year after year because the school cant compete with the bigger schools because all the recruits go on to the best teams which obviously creates a huge imbalance. I wouldnt trade one awesome win in 15 years for a chance to compete EVERY year, no way

Fans of those teams do, and its a chance for those schools to earn revenue which in turn can do alot.

I do agree with you in that the system is flawed. No one is denying that. But lots of people care and have time for 37 bowl games. Thats a silly statement.

When I say choas I mean the structure or lack there of doesn't make any sense. All these different rankings, how schools determine who their opponents will be, the conferences, the money that goes into certain teams that surely gets them into bowl games etc etc etc. It's just way too much man.
.

How is it any different than any other scheduling in any other sport? How are conferences any different than divisions in pro sports? I think you are making it more difficult than it needs to be to support your argument.

This statement is WAAAY to simplified, and can be inaccurate in many ways. Youd be surprised what a big win can do for a program...

Anyways, you dont like it. Fine. But i think its in part that you dont understand it. Thats not an insult, just the way humans work.

Hey breh I'm just tellin ya why I'm not into it personally. I'm not saying others shouldn't think it's awesome. If someone follows NASCAR I'm not gonna be like that shit is gay you hick. Well maybe lol. Football is football though.

It's true I don't understand it, which is why I said earlier its hella confusing (I can go on an on about stuff in College Football that makes no sense but you already know). Regarding the schedules though a teams schedule is not made like the NFL makes schedules you know that man.
