glad the brackets worked out the way they did... it would be so awesome if brees n co leave you 1 and done at home..but if not, most football fans in the country want to see us leave carolina and go fight you for the nfc championship anyway. im not scared to but lord knows id rather play saints at home....AFC is kinda bootsy..
Saints are the easiest match up for Seattle. I hope its niners Seahawks NFC championship. Man that would be insane.

I think Philly probably beats the Saints anyway. Road game, outdoors, cold weather. Thats been a huge issue for them this year.

I'm not counting GB or NE out. In fact, if the odds are truly 10 to 1 for NE to go all the way I am going to place my bet on them somewhere; Den at 3 to 1 and Sea at 13 to 5 don't interest me. Of course I want to see the Hawks with the trophy, I have my doubts beyond the NFC Championship though.

Of course its a whole new season now...

win records alone says saints are alot stronger.
philly struggled with the no-d, orton lead cowboys just to get in.
then you got veteran competitors with long standing chemistry in payton/brees.
chip and nick are off to a good start building sumthin like that and are hot as of late but i think smart money is on NO.
the embarrasment of the bounty scandal and season that followed, being knocked out of the divisionals by alex smith the year before... man i say saints bring it and it wont be the cakewalk it was on MNF for the hawks..

GB aint shit and we are rollin, as a niner no need to say anything else..
i hope the week off fucks off Cam..

I don't think a saints game would be a cake walk I'm just saying imo they match up the best for Seattle. A strong defense is what's needed to beat Seattle like SF or Carolina. Saints don't have that.

I know Philly struggled to put away Dallas but that was in Dallas, this will be in Philly and Saints have laid eggs this year on the road. It's no guarantee Saints win. Shit, Brees lost to a 7-9 Seahawks in the playoffs a few years ago.

Niners have the Packers number. Bears had that game fucking 4th and 8 50 yard TD smdh

I think we need PH back a little more than we might think.

We got a huge blessing with home field advantage through the conference finals, but Arizona showed the world that it's not impossible to come to Qwest and beat the Seahawks.

The game changes in the playoffs and things get more physical on both sides of the ball. That works in favor of our physical D, but it's going to hurt our offense that has been a sputtering a bit over the last few games. Teams like the Saints don't worry me much, but someone like Carolina coming and here and just shutting us down offensively makes me nervous.

I don't care for Bevel's play calling, but I will also admit I may be missing some of the cause in effect as to why he is calling the plays he is. Whether our receivers really have an inability to get open, or they just don't have the time to get open by the time the pocket collapses, some combination of the above is causing us to stall out on offense.

I am hoping a guy like Percy can bust open that log jam.

Look at the impact Harvin had against the Vikings and he only touched the ball twice. He is what Seattle needs right now - an explosive player. Everyone just stacks the line now to limit Marshan Lynch. Tate can have good games at times but all the WRs are inconsistent. Harvin just being on the field opens up the offense. He would be a huge impact in the playoffs
