RENTON – The Seahawks woke up Monday with a game-and-a-half lead on the rest of the NFC and the knowledge they play four of their final six regular-season games at CenturyLink Field, where they have tied a franchise record by winning 12 in a row.

They then received news that significant reinforcements could be on the way soon. Receiver Percy Harvin was put on the 53-man active roster with the possibility he could make his long-awaited debut Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, his former team...

Remember at the conclusion of last year I was taking some shit because I was saying Russell Wilson is a better QB than Kaepernick? I was saying he's a much smarter QB and because of that will continue to improve? Niner fans were laughing at me? Well...

Wilson
2,132 yards
63.4%
TD's 17
INT's 6
101.8 rating

Kap
1,675 yards
56.4%
9 TD's
6 INT's
83.0 rating

OF course the niner fans will predictably say "but but but Kap hasn't had any weapons". Wilson hasnt had an offensive line all year, don't want to hear it. Wilson has been making game winning plays. Kap, not so much.

I definitely agree that Wilson is a better QB than Kaep, but I will admit that the 49ers definitely have not been using him like they should this season. It looks like they put the training wheels back on him.

Yeah that I'm sure has something to do with his poor numbers but still, it's funny how times have changed. People were seriously getting pissed off i was saying Wilson was the better QB.

Wilson is definitely better but the argument i think Niner fans are trying to actually avoid is Alex Smith > Kaepernick. Kaepernick cant scramble and act like a runningback if he wants to have a long career. He doesnt seem to be able to read defenses that well. Hes basically an average qb when he has to stay in the pocket. It took a lot of time for Smith to develop but lol @ benching and eventually trading him at his peak.

Alex Smith is NOT better than Kap. I'm a Chiefs fan too (been a fan since late 90's early 2000's) and he is not better, he hasn't faced defenses like Carolina or Seattle. When he does and he's not dumping the football 15 yards or less then we can make a better comparison. I really think Kap is stuck between a rock and a hard place... they got him in the pocket (he's not a pocket passer) let him throw on the run and do his thing. Notice after his first read he gives up, give him another target other than Boldin that can actually catch the ball, that's Crabtree and Manningham, he still lacks a deep threat up top which I'm pissed Baalke didn't address before the deadline. But this is a 'Hawks thread some i'm done ranting.
