I would agree that post-hardcore is the more appropriate term for the majority of what has been posted in this thread, but to deny that these bands are a form of metal is just craziness. If we are to limit music by genre to their respective roots, then "metal" would have essentially died along with bands like Black Sabbath. However, as music transcends through time, it evolves and sub-genres are born. There is no classification for "scene metal", but it's obvious what "scene" refers to, and when you add metal to that, it should be clear what this thread aims at.
This is actually pretty good. Never heard of them before but after one listen all the way through there are at least a few good songs (peep the youtube). And considering there has been a drought of good music lately it makes it that much better. The quality of the rip could be better but you can still get a feel for it.
