Is it possible to blame the seller at all? After all he has:

Sent the package with a tracking number
Provided a scan/copy of the receipt and/or the package itself

I don't understand how you can get so upset at the seller, because as far as I can see he has proven that he shipped the CDs to you. It's lost somewhere on its way and it's not your fault and I can't see how it could be the seller's fault either. I don't think you've bought records from Harry Potter who has teleported into the post office and stolen back the package.

And again, how could you not pay for insurance of such a valuable package?

I should have offered it to him, the full value was insurable and would've cost around $200. Insurance was never discussed, a mistake yes.

Yeah i guess I'd managed sending expensive shit w/o insurance for a long ass time, this was mainly down to most of these expensive PayPal transactions being eligable for cover. Any excess amount PayPal couldn't cover I always thought to give the customer credit of that amount should this happen. This transaction was exempt though. My bad for thinking 'What could go wrong!'.

actually would've cost a bit LESS to do this (considering insurance as well) if you wanna put in the time and effort Wish I did now. $200 return, $60 for any other necessity. Package weighed enough for carry on luggage too.

man what we can do is still work to find them if we both legit....
it's seems impossible that that box is lost and if you got paypal invoice ...you can demostrate that your loss is about 2500 $...i don't know but it's painful to think all that incredible shit lost......
that's 1 st time i see alost tracking shipping.... never in years......

still no cd's playa? that sucks i would never order shit off ebay that exceedes 200 bucks just bcuz i dont no who im dealing with could be sum lil prick right? could try adn rip u off or sum shit.. but 2500$ thats alot and id be fuckin pissed if i was u..i would have got insurrance or w/e was needed tho if i was spending 2500 dollers online..u no..but i feel ur loss..id pay slippy a lil visit if iwas u but im not so..

I've had that shit happen before, i sent some cds out to russia and it took FOREVER for them to get there...but like sippy said with these kinds of deals you need to be patient about it, shit aint just gonna pop up overnight or within a week or so.... there's a point with being concerned about the package and making sure it got sent out ok and flooding and yelling and all that cuz your stuff isnt coming when you want it to. So i'd suggest in the future to just wait it out and then after a considerably long amount of time (longer than what was stated at the post office or wherever) THEN be like that...

And no offense but you need some serious help on your english, i couldnt understand some stuff you were saying....
