Look at what Livewire built by just hustling on they own....pushing mixtapes, dropping music for free, doing shows, etc etc...all on they own. They aint wait for no deals, they just grinded on they own. And eventually, they could cherry pick which distro deals they wanted.
This is the exact problem Sac artists have. Expected these grand fucking deals to come there way instead of staying on the grind and building their rep up to the point where they can secure a good distro deal and grow from there.
My opinion anyway.
