cartoons back in the 80s (which was when I grew up) ARE better than most of shit i see on tv. aside of family guy, futurama, south park, simpsons... I dont feel most of the shit today.

Shiet all we see are lameass reality shows just about 24/7 that I hardly ever watch TV nowadays except for documentries on the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, History Channel & KPBS & I wish I had National Geographic Channel... It sucks!!

I used to watch a gang of cartoons when I was a kid. Just off top: Pole Position, Muppet Babies, Dunegones & Dragons, The Snorks, Heathcliff, Mask, Thundercats, GI Joe, Captain Planet, Transformers, Street Sharks, Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles, tail spin, goof troop, batman the animtaed series, spiderman, x-men, berenstain bears, doug, rocko's modern life, ren & stimpy, rugrats, 2 stupid dogs, super mario brothers. that mc hammer cartoon, used to watch that kid & play cartoon, toxic crusdaers, he-man.

Silver hawks, C.O.P.S, Ghost busters (both versions) Street frogs.

I'm a big transformers fan, and I even liked the Japanese transformers and accepted Beast Wars.

The new series... well, I'll just say the style of drawing of the new transformer characters dont look good me to.

since when did transformers start to look like batman ya know? I hate that style of drawing, but for the artist, he making bank.
I even game the pokemon tranformers a pass (energon/armada)

What I liked about 80's cartoons was that they were well thought up... I mean there was an overall theme and shit. And the drawings were (IMO) good in detail and taste. Not to mention original.

I'm a fan of japanese anime and besides the fact that EVERY CHARACTER looks like another character in a different anime series, shit is well plotted out and majority is well drawn.

Gundam 00 season 2 just started... still lookin dope.

it wasnt that big of a deal to watch it to me, took it for granted basically cuz it came on so much. Now i just wish it would come on once a day at least. So sick of all these 90's babies cartoons, hope they come out with just a retro cartoon channel or some shit like that
