WTF happened to cartoons? I woke up this morning and there is nothing on television, there used to be Looney Tunes, GI Joe, Thundercats, even Ren and Stimpy...The gayness of todays cartoons is outrageous, case in point Spongebob Squarepants. The only funny gags in this cartoon are stolen from old Looney Tunes, and the rest is disgustingly latently homosexual...So I'm posting old cartoons for everybody awake Saturday mornings, sick of the current cartoon bullshit, to enjoy....



So everybody post up some good old school cartoons

well you know i was readin some shit last night in the source and they was sayin that if you dont got digital cable you gonna turn ya tv on and not see a god damn thing on january 9th 2009...the world is changing....the kids still have cartoons but it aint the shit we fucked with..a damn shame, really..cartoons shaped me in more ways than i give it credit for

you had hanna barbara doin the thing..the kids of this generation may never see that again

Oh yeah, I was reading something one time that said they think kids test scores and general learning is going to drop because they dont show Looney Tunes and shit anymore, they said cause old school cartoons introduced kids to stuff like classical music, historical lessons, and had ethical lessons, and the cartoons today suck ass

the tight thing is tho if you feel that serious about cartoons is you can cop it all on dvd now in the store...and even hip your kid on that old shit..there is definitely no issues with resources at the moment but adult swim really is the new generation of smart cartoons, you used to have that shit leaked into the old cartoons but the world is too sensitive for cartoons that make fun of Japanese people and shit...it was that shit like speedy gonzalez that we cant even get away with right now, like mexicans would sue the world for that shit in 2009, the old cartoons dont even fit in the 'new world'

Yeah its weird how times change and people are more accepting of eachother, everybodies also more sensitive to stuff then ever, shows like All In The Family, or Sanford and Son, maybe even shows like Roseanne wouldnt fly today...

I think a lot of it has to do with "white guilt" white people get so uptight about having fun with anything that has to do with other people being different, nowadays white people get more upset by black jokes on tv than black people ever did. everybodies just scared to offend someone. TV will never be the same, thank god for all those shows on DVD

What I noticed wit these new cartoons on tv, they dont put too much work into them anymore not like the old times where it was more detailed even to the background.
