its a seven year contract that was probably structured so that the money is given over a longer period so that it frees up $ for the salary cap. Like how Jerry Rice's contract is.

but pick up mike williams with him and porter out there any quarterback would look good.

sapp a good fit our deffense last year just looked tired, hes the type of cat that will energise a whole team.

yeah im with you on mike williams... hell Jerry Porter even said Mike Williams was one hell of a reciever

whoops my bad I got my shit twisted...Porter said that he is not impressed with Mike Williams and that he is slow and CBs will be all over him..And he said Fitzgerald will be like a Jerry Rice type guy

last i checked fittz aint to fast. he dosent have the size williams does and ive never heard anyone say anything but good about williams route running.

also look at his stats in the 2 biggest games last year

11/29 Miami Loss 28-14 3 26 8.7 1 0 0 0.0 0

and the touchdown was garbadge to keep his streak alive it didnt mean shit

12/27 @Virginia Loss 23-16 5 77 15.4 0 0 0 0.0 0

couldnt even get in the enzone
