Props for providing the doc embeded. I always enjoyed going to carshows and cruises afterwards. Napa was coo way back when, but san jo was always where it was at for me cinco de mayo. when i vacation back home this year it will be to show my native honey how Mexicans rip shit up with the low lows on cinco de mayo in san jo. hope its how I remebered.

my pops used to be in a car club in the late 60's early 70's called the shifters outta gilroy. he said they used to cruise in san jo from friday night all the way till school started monday morning. lol . as for me we were out there real heavy in the 90's to early 2000's....

1st car I had was 64. Didnt have a lic. yet but saved up 2G'z got Pops to help me snatch it up. Spent 2 summers working on that from the paint to the hydros. Eventually sold it to a homie and got a 76 Caprice. Hydros on that too. I still remember taking a drive down 880 and hopping that shit down the freeway, hahaa Not the smartest thing or safest thing I have done. Was lucky to walk away from that one....I know I have pix of those 2 cars at my Mammas house. Need to dig them up. Had the LRM's starting in '89 untill i stopped in '97 but a moment of weakness had me sell a few years of Magz off....

S.Sav, what was the name of that Lowrider store out there past the Flea Market on Berryessa. I had the little blue book of parts from there and we would drive out there to snatch up all kinds a parts. I cant remember the name of it.

damn that is right in my neck of the woods but I cant recall the name of it, its a tat spot now called Strong Tattoo, right next door to the 45's Forever clubhouse.

Remember the races off Bailey Rd. in Morgan Hill . ? Those were the days .

I got into the car scene from going to Hoover Middle School . This girl " Angela " I asked to the 6th grade dance had her dad bring us in the Lowrider . I'll never forget that .
