twitter really only works if you have a personality to display to begin with
boring, annoying or uninteresting people on twitter...it will work against them
and if youre an artist you should be perceptive enough to be able to use it to your advantage
but with that said, just because youre a rapper or an artist dosent make you the best communicator. i guess eventually you have to realize that twitter only gives you what you put in. so if you dont do anything with it, youll never see its potential.
i probably wouldnt have the followers i had if i wasnt on there cracking jokes like i do on here. i just give people what they want, something to read because theyre bored...
but ive met alot of people on twitter and ive made some associates, ive met some plugs, and ive made a few business moves on twitter that wouldnt have been possible on myspace.
to me if youre the type that knows how to apply his hustle to different mediums, youll see what twitter is about. ive been on that shit from the beginning back when NO ONE was on twitter because i saw its worth.
in closing tho, heres my opinion on social networks......get on the train, ride the train, get off the train and find a new train before the train falls off the tracks and off the cliff...keep doing that and youll get far....but one train cant get you everywhere.

twitter imo its best to start off slow "im eating eggs this morning' and work your way up to detailing interesting things in your life 'i socked my neighbors dog in the face through the fence for barking at me' ...people follow you on twitter based on what you say so once again, it is what you make it. if you talk about dogs all day, then dog lovers are gonna add you..and pet supply places..etc
