Nothing is written in Stone, but in my opinion Dago has been over shadowed by L.A. New jersey has the same situation with New York. Im sure alot of cities in the South are over shadowed by Atlanta as well.
I personally do not agree with trying to make A city Blow up, it in my opinion yields more negative results....it further divides the Westcoast by sections. I believe this can be one of the contributing factors of the state of hip hop in the West...I am not talking sales there are other factors like file sharing etc.
look at this website....divided by LA and San Diego, and then the BART and the Sacramento forum.....it makes some people feel an obligation to support 1 thing instead of a more broad spectrum...

damn near every rap fan is reppin their cities like its a gang. Street cred is everything. Thats gonna need to change soon. It needs to be all about talent again and not how many drugs u can sell and how many people u can kill.

Cuz all those overrated subjects are sooo played out but that's just my opinion cuz I know for sure the majority along with the rappers will not agree with me whatsoever......

i would agree 100% theres no life for a dago rapp scene, if yall do not know your history all of this was owned by all blacks way back in the 1800s downtown san diego, lajolla, and the town julian were all owned by blacks way back then and the white man came and bought them out, and now look from then till now how many blacxks make up the population out here in san diego, only 1%, what the fuck is going on? they are trying to get rid of us period, they want this to be a white mans paradise thats all that is

Reely??? I dont think I've ever heard or seen any of that part of SD history as far I as can remember??? Where you find all that info from??? Any legit sources or books emphasizing on that??? Old town museums or is there already a museum in southeast that's been built & runnin???
I would like to look into that......

^^^^^^that sounds great but an artist releasing a c.d really isnt the factor in BLOWUPTUISM...what are they gonna do with it? fam Bam..music trader? or do they have some marketing campaign with promotion outside city limits? I aint knockin whatever they do...we all have different goals...but In order for a city to blow up ..people outside the city need to be aware..

Dago is expensive than a muthafucka homie- The lower class in dago would Be Ballin out here in The Midwest - 3bdr houses or apts is like 6-7hun a month- yeah dat!

your talking about jungle fever, im talking about the low statistic of blacks in san diego..

go to the bay, places like oakland exist where you cannot move without seeing a black person

what im saying is by that percentage, there arent many black women in san diego to begin with.

and what i see is black people afraid of their own kind in sd...we look at eachother like we aint seen no other black people in a long time...i dont know about being afraid of white people.
