alot of MC's in SD seem to promote or Market themselves to other MC's...haha.

the folks who are succesfull are going outside the box to appeal to a different audience..


Do I think Licwit will buy my album...absolutely not...haha...he is an MC already, he don't care what I got going on...he's got his own shit going on....just using your name as an example mang.

Do i think that some dude with an LRG shirt on drinking at Cabo Cantina in Pacific Beach will buy my album off me, Yes....and that dude will be blown away cause most cats don't think there is a reputable scene in SD...so he will shows his friends, and they will show there friends, etc...

Thats why a majority of my promo is to people who aren't in the scene...cause they are more willing to support and actually be "FANS".

what is even funnnier is that fools try to throw shows and only promote to other rappers or there friends....whats the point of that??

lol mitchy ain't on there cuz he ain't dropped a new lp in damn near 3 years!! I voted for tribal seeds and stranger the rap scene in dago is sad and boring thank god diego has alot of great rock/reggae bands coming up...

and i coulda swore mitchy slick just dropped a xxl handgunner album this year but i could be wrong, i dont be payin too much attention most times

and if im not mistaken he dropped a slew of singles in 2008 (he'll shoot being one of the showcases)

smells like a copout really, i dont give a fuck but imma call a watermelon a watermelon

i think young sau shoulda won the award based on him doubling as a hook singer and a rapper

and thats not even bias cuz i know dude, he just did his nate dogg thang hard and should get somethin for that cuz no one else is doin it

the SDMA's doesn't know much about SD Hip Hop, because of the obvious...I did a post for fools to vote, and it gets 20 views....but do a post on how hard the hoods in SD are and that bitch gets 12,00 views....

they don't pay attention to us, because we don't pay attention to them...nuff said.

I am trying to get people to realize that.

true that...imma fuck with you this saturday youre one of the cats on here i can actually build with on something serious..youre making some good points with that

but at the same time this is a marketplace..you cant expect the marketplaceto change tastes...people go here for a specific reason. hip hop not being one of them

very true....but doesn't mean folks can't get together to weed out the bullshit...I just try to get fools on the same page..
