for real.....the SDMA Academy doesn't have any legitimate dealings with most of the Hip Hop Scene....So they make there decisions based on what they see of it, and they see the reader and who is doing shows and mobbing on people with Promo.....Rooted and MC Flow have the people, they both found a serious niche and filled the bitch....I only got nominated cause I have been in the reader and I got a big mouth....I just made enough noise not to go by unoticed...weather you have heard my music or not, most people have heard or seen my name somewhere....

most people do just say fuck the reader....and that won't get us anywhere...they control the people, and if you want the people you need the reader......shit is full off politics...unfortunately.

we can't beat the SDMA's or the Local Publications.......so if Hip Hop wants to get respect you got to go straight to the dragon.....we got to have dope shows, with no incidents...we got to have music that appeals to the kids, we got to talk to the San Diego Music Foundation about representation.....we got to do alot of things, that not to many Hip Hop heads will do cause they think it is lame or a waste of time....

see... but San Diego has a HUGE LBGT Scene......So she filled that nitch...and she is reaping the benefits......She WON the Award for Best Hip Hop last year, because she is the only representative of a huge number of people.

alot of MC's in SD seem to promote or Market themselves to other MC's...haha.

the folks who are succesfull are going outside the box to appeal to a different audience..

Do I think Licwit will buy my album...absolutely not...haha...he is an MC already, he don't care what I got going on...he's got his own shit going on....just using your name as an example mang.

Do i think that some dude with an LRG shirt on drinking at Cabo Cantina in Pacific Beach will buy my album off me, Yes....and that dude will be blown away cause most cats don't think there is a reputable scene in SD...so he will shows his friends, and they will show there friends, etc...

Thats why a majority of my promo is to people who aren't in the scene...cause they are more willing to support and actually be "FANS".

what is even funnnier is that fools try to throw shows and only promote to other rappers or there friends....whats the point of that??

Target promo.....
