Here is the deal with the secondary, Ill start corners. Quentin Jammer is playing pro bowl caliber football and has been. He is legit but aint flashy and dont get the picks so no one calls his name unless its for a mistake. Cromartie is garbage and needs to get over himself. He did have a great season last year and has tremendous upside BUT, last season got to him. most of his success last season came playing the nickel(if you recall drayton florence was the starter for the first half) when in the nickel, cromartie would sit in a zone and fly torwards the ball. Opposing teams realized this dude was too busy going for picks and starting throwing at him. he hates contact and wont mix it up with anyone. The safties, clinton hart is who he is, this dude was cut by i dont know how many teams and was sent to nfl europe. you basically get a body out there that can make plays at times...Eric Weddle had a horrible game yesterday but actually started improving torwards the end of the season. remember he is a first year starter so he gets a pass imo

Weddle is the best fucking safety we got, cmon guys. The guy that needs to go is Clinton Hart. We need to draft a true Safety, someone that can cover and lay the hammer. Someone that puts fear in opposing recievers and QBs, like Palomalu, Dawkins, A. Wilson, Reed, Sanders. Neither one of our safeties are true physical types, but atleast Weddle reacts quickly and can tackle pretty good. He's had a few bad tackles here and there, but I think hes overcome most of that as the season progressed. I think he will be pretty good. It's Hart that has to go, he hasn't shown much upside. Cromartie, well he's been hurt. That whole defense will come along great next season IMO if everyone is there from the beginning and healthy.
We also need another ILB to play alongside Cooper. Wilhelm is garbage and the rest are just backups. I say we get another good DE also, someone who can actually provide an inside push when we only rush 3 or 4, like Richard Seymour. So in that case, I say we get rid of Igor or demote him for a better DE in the draft or free agency. Castillo is not even that great IMO either. Heck, I think Cesaire is better than both of them. Honestly, I think both our DEs would play better at DT in a 4-3 scheme, especially Castillo. Be nice to get another NoseTackle too, to spell J. Williams, that's probably a bigger concern than any DE spot atm.
