I hold in my hand Islam: A Primer by John Sabini (1997)
and I quote
"The Unrestricted Polygamy of pre-islamic Arabia was reduced to four legal wives with the injunction thath the husband treat all oh tem equally

But if ye fear that ye shall not
Be able to deal justly with them,
Then only one....
To prevent you

The Quran then advices (Sura 4:129), 'Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire....' The Message clearly is that, while polygamy is permitted, monogamy is preferable. Today, polygamy is outlawed in some states and in dying out naturally in others."
I also hold the Koran. It agrees with the above mentioned quote. You can have more than that ( i think) but legally you can only have 4.
I didnt mean economically, I meant as in what they could give you spiritually. I dont know, nor do I want to.

marriage should stay as it is BETWEEN 1 MAN AND 1 WOMAN! there is nothing discriminatory about it.
any and every man can marry a woman and visa versa. there is no discrimination here at all. a hispanic man can marry ANY black, hispanic, white woman or any other race he wants to as any man of any other race can also. the same goes for all women of all races they can marry any man of any race that they want.
although i wish people on the right and in the center didnt have to go as far as to amend the constitution it appears that this is the only way to stop this bullshit.
so i will vote YES on the amendment.

IM ALL FOR SAME SEX MARRIAGE....THEY SHOULD MAKE IT COST MONEY THOUGHT....$1000 FOR THEM TO GET THEIR MARRIAGE LICENSES....I MEAN IF THEY REALLY DO LOVE EACH OTHER THEYLL BE WILLING TO PAY ANY PRICE.....AND IT'LL HELP THE ECONOMY....IF THEY HAD MADE IT COST MONEY FOR SAME SEX MARRIAGE LICENSESINCE THE BEGINING THE COUNTRY WOULD ALREADY BE MAKIN HELLA MONEY....
when it comes down to it, if your neighbor down the street marries his dog, how the fuck does that impede on your right to life liberty and happiness?
