The only thing I didn't like about it are the controls, I don't like the a and x buttons for driving, they should use the triggers, like every other game... and I don't like that there's no way to target people, but I guess that just takes getting used to. The directions on the map and on the road when you're driving and shit are really nice, makes finding where you need to go a hell of a lot easier than in GTA.
I've heard alot of people have been getting this early, you guys that pre-ordered might want to check if you can get it already.
You can switch to control option B for driving in the options menu, and that's pretty much exactly what you wanted.
I'm having a lot of fun with this game, I've been playing the story mode like crazy, and I'm almost finished.
The character customization and customization options overall are just awesome.
The side missions and missions overall are better than GTA's too.. You don't get those really annoying missions. I've had hard missions, but they aren't gay.. The hardest one for me so far was the misssion at the end of the Los Carnales story strand.
But, the game just feels real familiar, and it plays smooth, a lot less glitches than GTA, as well..
Overall, I think gameplay wise, the game's better than GTA... Some features are missing, like motorcycles, planes, helicopters, but besides that, it's pretty much better..
The story probably isn't as good as a GTA game, either.. IT's close though, but the graphics are good, and people who think the graphics aren't good, are used to watching CGI cutscenes on the PS2 & X-Box, and all these cutscenes are done in real time, and things like that..
Also, the city is pretty big, but not too big like San Andreas was at time.. It's probably three times as big as Vice City.
The aiming is way better, and far less cheap.. GTA's autoaim was so cheap, and easy, and it'd make for very gay online play if they kept it.
It's not that hard to use both sticks, and it just aims like any other game..
I think the game's way better than any other 360 game I've played so far.. The demo probably made my expectations lower, but the actual game surpassed them, when you unlock the whole city, you discover that there's a lot more to do, than in the little teeny portion you had unlocked in the demo.
