SADDAM COLONEL MAKES CHILLING CONFESSION

Thanks for posting that, I woke up yesterday morning and read that article in the newspaper, crazy shit.
"The deadliest atrocity associated with Saddam's government was the scorched-earth campaign known as the "Anfal," in which the government killed an estimated 180,000 Kurds in Iraq's far north. Many were buried in mass graves far from home in the southern desert."
For that he faces genocide.
You're comparing the spoils of war with the atrocities of a government ruling. It is Saddam's fault that those children died. Put it this way, if your smoking weed in a car and a cop arrests you, is it the cops fault your in jail now? No, it's your own fault for making it possible.
Why is it that in a thread about Iraq and Saddam, all you can talk about is America's past? That is hardley relevant. I have not once seen you agree that Saddam is an evil man, or acknowledge that he has done ANYTHING wrong, you just counter with something America has done. How can you question our support for America when you can't even show any slight disaproval for what Saddam has done. I guess you support that kind of shit.
You can't compare WAR with the way a government treats their citizens. If Bush killed, tortured, and raped American civilians in cold blood by the thousands, then I would be on your side saying fuck America. You keep digging for whatever you can find on America to somehow show that we are as bad as whatever it is we're fighting against. You know what...
Can you comment on any of these threads without using the words Bush, Americ*, or United*, or anything directly resembling them?
If you would have said--in the beginning--that you supported the fall of Saddam's regime, but still said fuck America, I would have so much more respect for you. But the way your going about it is just...

That's great, but what about Saddam?
When Saddam was put in power, Uday was 16 and Qusay was 14 years old. How could we know what they were capable of?
He did more than just "something in 1980".
1. He made a track team crawl on their hands and knees on hot asphalt.
2. He tortured and killed a boxer because he lost his match.
3. He took a football team and caned their feet because they lost a game.
I can't even begin to name everything, read the post in my sig for more. They have killed and torture thousand and thousands of INNOCENT CIVILIANS. Everyone can talk about the past all they want, but it isn't going to stop Saddam from killing, America has.

wasnt the Iraqi regime allowed to sell 2 BILLION dollars worth of oil under the sanctions so they could feed their people and so they could keep the people healthy???
its not our fault that Sadam Hussein put those billions in his own pockets.
its called the OIL for Food program. where the UN would buy oil from Iraq and pay them with FOOD and Medicine. again it isnt our fault that sadam would in turn sell the food and medical supplies for cash on the black market so he could pocket the money.

But it's always our fault. Don't you read the posts in here, everything is America's fault. Anyways, not all of the money went into his pocket. Some of it went to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers. We can't forget his many palaces that were houses of prostitution and pornography, things condemned by Islam and what America is criticized for having. Oh yeah, and some money went to his 8-story yacht, which is at the bottom of a river now.
