^^^ I agree with both of you. Outside the gates, and on Broadway is a different story. Any homeboys that come out here for Cinco De Mayo need to be on your toes. Make sure you car is registered if you plan on cruising, becacuse the cops love to try to take your car up here. William Land Park will most likely be crackin' also, and is a good pit stop for a drink or toke off the boulevard.

Me and my homies would cruise from Old Sac down Front, Right at Broadway, all the way through Miller Park(stop if we see some other homies of course), back out to Broadway, all the way down Broadway to Franklin, turn right on Franklin, down to 12th Ave/Sutterville and make a right, all the way till it ends at Freeport then make a left, Right at Sutterville and into the parking lot of the golf coarse and pound some brewskies and smoke, after we we done back out to Sutterville in same direction, right on Land Park, cruise through the park, back to Land Park in same direction all the way to Broadway and make a left, then do it all over again, and again, and again...

To answer your question: Everytime I went there was a mixture of folks. White people having birthday parties for there kids, Black folks having family reunions, Mexicans just cruising and loitering, hahahah.

Things musta changed I guess William land was just mainly blacks back then.

I remember when Franklin Blvd had the cruises.Having hydraulic compititions
chicanos walking the strips and checking out the females.Drinking and not having the cops bother anyone unless a fight broke out.It was the shit back then.I'm not sure if anyone in the 916 remembers them days.

Probably because Gibson Ranch is alot bigger and it would be alot easier to get away with something , where you have excape routes and Discovery Park is surrounded by water with only 2 ways out...unless you have a boat.
