3.LATE 98

4.WORKED WITH THESE CATS www.groundbasics.com
working on my second album (DOCTRINES OF DEVILS). "sin ways make pay days" compilation. it had levitti, mac and a.k. ,maitai riko loko, and lil sin (the mastermind behind the project). some non profit work for a private school (got cashed out somethin cool even though it was NON PROFIT LOL!!!!!). i have to go back to the lab and remix my first album. all the FINAL mixes i had are now GONE  .

5.probably the ground basics one. that one opened the doors for me in ways they dont even know about.

6. Who would you like to work with, that you haven't yet?
me and khyree are vibing right now so thats something i look forward to. my nephew goldy gold will realese his solo album after the southwest federation compilation album (they just signed to VIRGIN by the way). he already asked me for some music so thats in the bag.

shohei baba i vibe with him (MAN HURRY THE FUCK UP!!!!). he is THE tightest emmcee ,mc emce on THIS board.

metalica (i would use them for metal tracks), stp (metal tracks) alice in chains (use the drummer and guitarist) and saliva 9more metal)

Thanx homie..I feel I could have done better mixing down the beats for Decoy's album..some of them were a bit sloppy but we learn from our mistakes and those beats are like a year and a half old now...Where the hell is that damn album!?

1) How long have you been making beats?

About 2 1/2 - 3 years

2) What was your first piece of gear....or set-up?

First thing I worked with was Fruity Loops back when it first came out. Got bored with it quickly and found out I was decent at making beats so I invested some doe into a Triton. Now I have the Triton, Roland XV-3080, Mo Phatt and mixers and shit..so what I got now is really my first set of gear.

3) When did you produce your first song?

No clue, I used to write songs when I was 9 and 10 lol..so it's been a while.

4) Have you produced any tracks or albums that have been commercially released?

Got a few tracks on Capone's album which was advertised in The Source and Murda Dog magazine, nation-wide release. Got a few tracks on Nomaad's album, he got a commercial running on BET right now playing the first single which I produced, he goin nation-wide..probably will blow up big, he's mad dope. I worked on a beat with 40oz for his Hell Rydaz compilation and we're currently collabing on a few tracks for Suave's album which will feature Pastor Troy and a few other big south heads. Everything else I'm working on is still in the works, custom beat deals, shit like that...

5) If so.....what has been your most popular or successful one?

Nothing yet, noone's really released anything....just at the beginning of the start.

1) How long have you been making beats?
over 5 years... but just recently started studying platnum shit... and am tryin to get a couple straight beat albums pressed up for work..

2) What was your first piece of gear....or set-up?

An instrumentals cd and a mic... Then i got a roland 303 and added analog 4 track mixed with my house sterio... now im runnin my own studio and have to liquidate a lot of extra shit.

3) When did you produce your first song?

Actually when i was 13 i recorded a few songs about the 1st time i got high.. Its hidden beacuse i used a cheap keyboard for beat and a teak tape recorder to make it all in one take.. It is so weak!

4) Have you produced any tracks or albums that have been commercially released?

Nothin commercial, i have a few demos that have been just learning tools but been offered to be purchased for $50... i dont let my work out tho.. I made a few peoples cuts.. theirs always turn out better then mine.. its hard to make your own beats write and produce your own music.. its basically almost impossible to monitor and deliver at the same time.
5) If so.....what has been your most popular or successful one?

My friends have a lot of favorite tracks ive done... i dunno if the internet will ever hear themn or if they will make it to my album but ive reached a lot of people with my work.,

I get tired of lookin' at all the same shit all the time.....so I thought I would spice it up a bit in here and find out a little background info on everybody.

1) How long have you been making beats?

2) What was your first piece of gear....or set-up?

3) When did you produce your first song?

4) Have you produced any tracks or albums that have been commercially released?

5) If so.....what has been your most popular or successful one?
1. I started around 1992 or 1993.

2. I had a tape deck, a drum machine and keyboard (all weak as fuck.) I ran the drum machine to the tape L in and the keyboard to the R in... Then run that tape deck to the next tape deck, both outs to the L in and the keyboard ot the R in and repeat until the beat was done... Noisy as fuck from all the dubbing but I couldn't do much else... No sequencer on the keyboard either so I was playing the keys through the whole 4/5/6 minute track. Before I got the drum machine I'd dub drum loops off other albums over and over for drums...

3. 1993 or 1994... Headphones as a microphone recorded the same way beats were done above...

4. Not really, I've dropped beats on some underground albums/compilations, I don't think anything was released nationwide or sold more than a couple thousand copies.

I don't think we'll ever know. Either way, he's a great asset to the board, and I've never seen him post without being on point.

That is if we're talking about the same person?
