Aye, E-40 is dope dont get me wrong, but best in the bay NAAAHH, top 5-10 for sure besides its all based on opinion....But if these reasons you stated is why E-40 is the best in the bay.... That makes 50 cent the dopest rapper to ever hit the face of this earth.....

E-40 is easily arguably the best in the bay. Based on lyrics, albums, content, swagger, popularity and whole bunch of other shit he is atleast top 5. But it is up to people's opinions so I can't say he's the best, but he's probly my favorite (its between him and quinn to me)

I see a lot of folks trippin like rydah ain't the best of the figz. With the exception of Bo on they album he kinda carried that mob figaz album. Dude did most of the choruses. The last time I listened to that shit all the way thru I peeped that shit. Homie basically said in that old murder dog interview that he on some other shit. Folks don't wanna hear somebody take a new direction as far as content in they lyrics. They'd rather hear lies about livin the same way for a hot hunnet years. Guess that's why tv's so popular. Playboy doin what he want to not what he can and keepin it treal with the only person at the end of the day that matters...It's a business but there's still principle. Lazy? Naw just livin homie.

^^ thats Rydah's main shit, doing the choruses. They all hold it together not just one nigga. The way AP9 is and the rest of them why would just 1 nigga carry the album out.

There all hard rappers and they drop good shit all he time.

I ain't sayin any of em were weak on that album. Rydah was the farthest along with his skills period. I was thinkin bout all the other shit too. It was pretty even on the album. But he shut shit down on every verse. After Hustle in the Rain it was a rap for me. The name's GottaGo mayne and this is my opinion.....

IM CURIOUS, WHEN DO YOU THINK RYDAH COMES WEAK?
Compare Rydah in those first two cds in your sig to the Rydah nowadays. I wouldnt say that he comes weak now, thats not the word, but he really isnt the same. What he raps about is different.

yeah rydah mentions thizz this thizz that too much and other various bullshit content....he used to tell stories with his lyrics, spit reality raps and come with some hard lyrics...he kinda toned that shit down and is more laid back with his flow rapping mostly about money, dre, drugs and his label
