I think I don't understand anything about the respect spaniards have cuz they parade them bulls around and stick em with spears and swords and all kinds of shiet.
its different, its a different culture, they dont think the same way about it then americans do.the purpose of Encierro(running of the bulls)is traditionaly to get the bulls from the outsides of the towns to the central arena(bull ring)this has been going on for hundreds of years all over spain, its almost like a race.slowly locals started runnin down the streets with the bulls since its allways the same course. The Corrida(bullfight)is essentialy art.now i know that theres thousands of contradictions in that,in the torturing of a bull but that was the initial intent.the whole town would get together to watch usually 7 fights a day, some with matadors, some on horses, multiple matadors.and then at the end the bull is consumed by the town party.resturants take the bull right out of the rink, and start basing and spicing it and gettin it ready for tapas.so back to the subject.the bull fights are gonna happen no matter what happens, the reason people run witht he bulls isnt to inflict any harm but to get the rush and sensation to be able to run with such a huge majestic beast.ill say it again, when i looked over and saw this beast that when lunging was about 5 1/2 feet of pure fuckin muscles my chin litereally dropped almost dropped to the floor, nothing can describe the feeling, your totally utterly fuckin helpless.so when spainards see non locals all hyped on adrenalin start smackin the bull like its a dog, they take it personal.you dont disrespect the beast,or youll get fucked up
