and another thing, there is BLATANT dick riding going on in this shit.
1) royce came with writtens in the freestyle battle. so how is his written in a actual song, any worse than a written in a freestyle battle?
2) its never about the who strikes first, its who strikes the hardest. royce struck the hardest.
3) why are some of you feeling like you have to stick up for fab?
lets examine this whole thing:
1) royce isnt feeling the battle and comes with subpar verses. fab has battery in his back and disses *3* dead mean, the brother of a dead man, subsequently wnis battle off of pure skill.
2) royce tells him "get your money when you wake up" which is loosely translated to "dont worry about me and that battle, do your thing, good job"
3) fresh batteries are thrown in fabs back once again, stash magazine interview saying "fuck that nigga", backpeddles on disses, calls out a man for not going to a battle when his brother died (so what, he didnt show up to the battle..if your brother died are you going to battle or go to a club and get some pussy?)
4) diss track is born. fab CONTINUES to speak on dead people, and people he dont really fuck with. (dilla, proof, chedda boys)
5) people outside of the bay area give this diss a lukewarm response, citing the freestyle battle when talking about it. "fab can freestyle his ass off but he stole jeezys flow on that shit"-quote from a listener
6) joe buddens gets on the radio and calls fab wack, opts to diss ransom and not even pay attention to fab.
7) royce records diss record on the level of yuk's "game over".
8) The whole internet (except for bay area websites) says fab lost and shouldnt even bother responding.
step back, not as a west coaster, but as a rap fan. how does that make fab look?
