why do he need another year or two? he is polished have you seen him in the ring and most important of all he gets over with the fans. I like del rio he reminds me of tito santana, rick martel, razor ramon and eddie guererro mixed in one

Having great in ring skills and being able to preform at main event level are two different things.



Dont get me wrong I like Del Rio, I feel most of the young talent that WWE is pushing will be their future. But dude just isnt ready yet

I also ordered the Rumble...I had access to a stream but for big events its been skipping and I probably woulda missed Booker or Diesel's entire time in the ring lol...the only events I ever order are the Rumble and Wrestlemania

WWE has been pushing new guys prematurely for a while now....I think Del Rio is ready....people were shocked when Sheamus won the title and now look at him...it ain't your old school WWE/WWF where they build guys for years before putting them in the main even picture anymore...you can look back at guys like Brock Lesnar and see that..

now I would personally see Del Rio win the title as a face in this situation, cause Edge is a better heel...or shit have Edge lose the title to someone else, maybe Undertaker and make it Del Rio vs Taker at the Rumble...I dont think Edge vs Del Rio is strong enough main event, and neither is Miz vs Cena....WWE needs to deliver a strong veterans match like they have in the past years with HBK vs UT, HBK vs Flair, etc

Some did well...a whole lot more came crashing down. Take Jack Swagger for example. Dude can wrestle circles around most of the WWE and could put on great matches with the right people. Dude was big, getting over, had the right skills and they gave him a heavyweight title run and now hes a jobber.

I find the whole "OMG HE IS OVER! QUICKLY STICK HIM IN MAIN EVENTS AND GIVE HIM A TITLE RUN!" ideology stupid.

hell yeah! 9/10
Edge def. Dolph was a solid 8/10 and
Miz def. Orton had an exciting ending (atleast) 7/10
The divas match was pretty much filler ha.

Does anybody else feel like.... That shit wasn't a Royal Rumble? 40 guys in the Rumble and there was never more than like... 7 guys in the ring.

And I actually paid for that shit yesterday. First PPV I've paid for in years and it's the last.

Last years Rumble was the same way...maybe they figure too many guys in the ring is confusing... Now WCW World War 3...THAT shit was a cluster fuck with the 3 rings

i think itd be dull to see 40 dudes just straight up brawling for 90 minutes, i kind of like how they did the hornswoggle thing and comedy bit with tyson kidd .. it broke up the monotony imo .

They shoulda had morrison come in later and be the last man to be thrown out then do that lil move he did to add the suspense. It was a pretty corny royal rumble tho. Best royal rumbles imo were the 92 one and the 94 one.

^^ i gotta disagree with u on that, del rio may main event and win a belt, but Razor is Razor..dude's an OG, one of the best IMO

I figured they would do something for Del Rio since hes been popping up on RAW now and since they put him in the ring with Shawn Michaels. I think he would make a great heel champ.

that sweet chin music was del rios welcome to the main event position. remember hbk did the same thing to brock lesnar before he won the tittle & booker t, edge, stone cold and more

The reaction Nash got at the Rumble should tell WWE Management they need to bring him back for at least a lil fued with Big Show again. The way they looked at each other they could do a match at Wrestlemania and just start building for it now.
A interview I read on WWE.com. I guess Nash would like to face Paul again in the future. Hopefully he doesn't go for a powerbomb again.
