I KNEW ROY WOULD DOMINATE, HONESTLY 5 YEARS HE WOULD OF KNOCKED OUT TRINIDAD EASY BUT HE WAS BARELY THROWING COMBOS OR GOING ON FLURRIES.

Yeah...that's what I was saying. If he'd have let his hands go, without going 'wild', he'd have the KO.

Tito looked...mediocre next to Roy. He didn't look horrible, but at that weight, in this point and time...no comparison.

I HONESTLY COULD NOT BELIEVE TITO TOOK THE FIGHT, I MEAN HE HAD ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS AGAINST WINKY AND HOPKINS, HOW YOU GONNA FIGHT SOMEONE THAT MUCH BIGGER THEN YOU AND IS FASTER THEN BOTH OF THEM

RJJ cant pull the trigger n go 4 the kill.
it (the KO) was his for the taking and he sat on it all night. I saw two mf's who wanted to get paid, fight but not get hurt, and agreed not to kill each other. That was the 1st time Id ever seen Tito try n show luv to an opponent during the fight AND give the mf a hug after the fight. what the fuck did i just watch, two friends make 5mil each @ the expense of my comcast bill?

It had the look of the mayweather-hatton fight except RJJ didnt go after the KO like mayweather did n the 8th. I won my money on the fight but was sad to see that RJJ didnt go 4 a clear cut KO. All he would've had to do was press, press, press!!!!!!!!! very frustrating to watch as a prediction maker!

Unlike Manny I dont see RJJ putting up a good challenge against Calzaghe, atleast not a winning 1. Tito was surprising crisp and strong (all things considered). Put it like this, RJJ would get flatted by Miranda or Pavlik but would look so-so against Calzaghe cuz he doesnt really have a KO punch. RJJ's best option as I see it is to retire, b4 he suffers an almost certain TKO or brutal KO loss like a few years back.

I still worry everytime i see RJJ back up with his ear muffs on. If Tito were a natural 170 or 168 or 175 RJJ woulda been done from all those body shots

good fight, not great. Doesnt have any relavance to the current title holders and was sad to see that they couldnt even sell out the event or give a who's who of the stars in the audience. I guess all they could muster up was Rick Ross?

Roy would get a UD vs. Miranda.

i disagree Miranda would punch thru those ear muffs! Miranda is back w/ a better understanding that his offense has to be even more so potent b/c his defense cant improve drastically. RJJ aint got the energy to go w/ Miranda. LOL @ a UD.. tha would NEVER happen.. maybe b4 he got KO'd by Tarver but definitely not now.. so why even say it?

So why say it? Because I believe it. I don't buy into this huge hype of Miranda. He's a tremendous fighter, and a big talent, but I don't see this ''superstar'' you're portraying. Roy isn't the best fighter in his division, by far...but Miranda isn't, either.

Don't get me wrong; I think Miranda can compete with the best, I just don't see him beating the best.

dawg u just saw an over the Hill RJJ fight a trinidad 2/3 years removed n 15+ pounds past him power/ability and u wanna say RJJ is apart of ur "the best"? wow! c'mon now Tito was a fading star as he moved up in weight to 160 lol dont let ur memory serv u wrong. Miranda aint the best, or gonna be the next best thing but this aint the RJJ from 96, 97,98,99 its 2008. There's a reason he had to bring Tito outta retirement instead of goin 2 pounds down n facin some young cats with real potential and actual title holders

Did you read my post? I never defended Roy as being better in that particular weight class than Miranda. I simply said MIRANDA isn't that great that he's beat Roy. Roy and Miranda...Roy's old, over the hill, and washed up. He has his speed (kinda), intelligence, and defense. Miranda is...on a scale of 1-10...a 7, maybe, in that division. So...Roy, while he may not be the Roy of old...isn't that far down the ''totem poll", yet.

hmmm, I'll just be straight - Roy looked awesome. He showed flashes of his old self. I haven't seen Roy look that good in the ring since pre-Tarver.

Only thing though is he didn't knock Tito out. Which everyone knew he could have if he turned it on more frequently. But thats Roy, he's a defensive fighter for the most part and he's been reluctant to finish off his foes (unless you go waaaay back to like 2000/2001).

Tito didn't look that bad either. He started off strong and was throwin strong lefts. But the fight was a mismatch.

Roy could hold his own against Calzaghe. I think it would be a pretty good fight if it were to happen and he would have a good shot at winning. Against Bernard, idk, thats a tough one to call.

Against Pavlik/Taylor - depends on the weight.

Regardless, it was great to see Roy in the ring last night, very impressed with the 40 year old!!

btw, WHO THE FUCK SAW THE GOLOTA FIGHT??? DID YOU SEE HIS EYE? FUCK!!!
