Ruiz was easy for jones and Jones knew it otherwise he'd have never agreed to the fight, I dont think he'll fight anymore HW fights because if he fight's Byrd and wins, then Lewis would be next and Lewis would bitch slap Roy.

If I'm correct, Lennox Lewis weighs around 260, Roy is giving up way too much weight if they were to fight. Even though Roy took, Ruiz shots well he was phased in certain rds by Ruiz's big punches. I don't know if he could take a lot of shots from Lennox Lewis....

RUIZ WAS JUST STANDING THERE LIKE A TEST DUMMY NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, THEN HE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE REFS LIKE THEY HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!

NOT ONLY IS ROY GIVING UP TO MUCH WEIGHT AGAINST LENNOX IF THEY FIGHT, HES GIVING UP WAY TO MUCH OF A HEIGHT AND REACH ADVANTAGE, I WOULD BE VERY SURPRISED IF THIS FIGHT HAPPENS, MOST LIKELY CHRIS BRYDS UP NEXT FOR ROY!!!

ruiz jus doesn't have a knock out punch, he couldnt finish roy...he would catch him with a couple then stop like a bitch when he coulda kept punching....roy doesn't have the power to knock out a real heavyweight and he jus outboxed em that fight was a lock for jones by decision....i hit for a note on roy though bettin my boy fuck payin juice to the book for that one cuz all it takes is 1 punch

My man has it nailed. What does RJ have to do to get some respect ? He has beat everyone put in front of him and now a legit Heavyweight. It doesnt matter if he beat Hopkins again and Darius there would still be people thinking Jones needs to fight Lewis to prove something. Its a damn shame folks cant just watch him and enjoy what they are seeing because he is one of the best over the last 25 years easily. People will be telling their grandchildren "I saw Roy Jones beat a heavyweight".

Thats what I'm sayin...Everyone thought he was going to run around the ring. Roy Jones went toe to toe with Ruiz. He lumped him up, AND took his belt. He was just to quick for him, he landed some quick ass hard punches that Ruiz couldn't defend or handle.

"I just couldn't get my punches off,'' Ruiz said.

And your not impressed with that?

Boring Fight that Jones knew he'd win otherwise he'd have never taken it. He wont fight a REAL HW soon, Ruiz was garbage, beating an old man in Evander Holyfield.
Why is everyone acting like Ruiz was all the sudden a great fighter and champion.
RJJ will only gain respect when he fights a REAL HW not some 2something punching bad with skin.
If he really wants it, then lets see the best pound for pound take on King Lewis.

The Pound For Pound best Boxer in the world pulled it out....I like how he said after the fight...They were saying all this hype about how never take a heavyweight lightly...Well Ruiz took me lightly...HaHa...Roy looked hella swole out there....WHO`S THE NEXT VICTIM FOR ROY.....HaHa
