Now that teh Cavs know what kind of defense the Celts are gonna play, they can exploit more with the open man, which will give LBJ more room. Don't think they're gonna "lock him down" like that again.
If Allen and Pierce aren't gonna put up any numbers, this series is going to the cavs.
And, another thing - either both teams were playing piss poor bball or the refs were just waaay too involved in that game. Had both teams marching up and down the court on every possession like that shit was line dancing or something.

allen and pierce disappeared last night. at least we got the win so they will get hot when we need them to.
the cavs already knew what kind of d the celts play. it wasnt anything new. theres really nothing to "exploit" except their old age. if they cant speed up the tempo of the game they wont win one.

The Game was okay Lebron was missing a gang of jump shots, no big suprise there, but I am wondering where did Ray Allen go to. I mean 0 points, that is unacceptable I hope he is not getting to comfortable of being just a role player and remember he didnt make it to all them all-star games for no reason.
what?? we played cavs 4 times this year so they know how we always played defense. we never change our defensive scheme we are just pretty good at what we do. kinda like the pistons when they had wallace. i also find it funny ur gonna give lebron a 2nd chance sayin that he wont get locked down again but then say if ray allen and pierce dont score then it's over like there lower than him or something. that was the 1st scoreless game ray had since 97 and it wasnt like he was having a terrible night he was off in 1 quater and then never even tried to turn it back on. but thats the good thing about this team and the players that are here. when 2 players have an off night (granted this was the 1st time i seen 2 of the 3 with an off night) it's very doubtful the other guys will and we still have wat it takes to win games. if lebron has an off night it's like an automatic loss. i mean keep doubting the celts but they are a really good team and i'm not sayin they will win a chamionship but they are good enough to give even the best team fits with beating them.
even you sayin this, we are not an old team at all. we got 3 old guys and 2 come off the bench. the lakers have older starters than we do for crying out loud. and we are a very good fast break team, we just dont play that great of defense against it but that aint age thats just how we play d

Knowing the defense is gonna focus on James and force the rest of the Cavs to beat them is one thing - seeing exactly how they're gonna make it happen is another.

youre not giving boston enough credit for their defense. they have been stifling at home every game in the playoffs, which is just a continuation of the regular season. lebron is suffering the effects of being a one man team. they need to get that man some help there in cleveland. gettin wallace wally and delonte wasnt the answer.
