i wish they would take the winner of OU and FLA and play USC

we might have a split championship this year if the OU and FLA game is real close

i wish usc was playing ou. as for the split championship, its a slim possibility but i dont think so. however if OU beats Florida (which i think they will) by a slim margin and Texas beats the doggshit outta Ohio State then it will create alot more controversy

2 words!

TAYLOR MAYS

Thats our 1st rounder for sure! He can be the next Ronnie Lott. He laid out that Penn St receiver as well as his own teammate. And he also forced a fumble.
yup, he from seattle! odea to be exact. shoulda went to UW like his dad. and he's the fastest player on the trojan team, runs like a 4.2 or some ungodly shit

if you're recruited by a school that sends damn near every starter to the NFL, gives open competitions at every position which will only make you better OR a team that's close to home, you're given a starting position and have to deal with the distractions/expectations of home, and a division bottom dweller(for now), which would you choose?

I feel where you're coming from, but if it was your son, wouldn't you want him to be in the best situation for him to maximize his potential?

oh ya of course i would. if i was mays or his father i wouldve chose usc too, dont get me wrong. but as a die hard fan i want the best situation for my team to maximize their potential lol i realize how bad its gotten but i would never jump shit. on the other hand i always root for the Pac Ten team in any sport if they arent playing my team. so im glad the pac ten went undefeated this bowl season

People have to understand that in the 80's and 90's, UW was pulling MASS amounts of So Cal recruits from the USC's and UCLA's, one of the reasons USC was "down" in those years and UW was UP. If you look at the players the UW put into the NFL during the last 2 decades, you will see that many of them are from So Cal. However, things have changed with a bunch of bullshit happening at UW and USC staying strong over the last decade.

^ i do understand that. the point i was making was about big instate recruits like taylor mays and jonathan stewart that we didnt/dont get whereas we used to get guys like that (steve entman, corey dillon, lawyer milloy, etc). notable lone recent except being jake locker.
however we did used to pull cats like nap kaufman, reggie rogers, etc like you stated

Besides Kevin Love, the northwest has been able to keep most of their biggest basketball recruits...at least you have something to be happy about. LOL
