Geographically, wouldn't it make more sense to set up shop anywhere in LA County or the IE or the OC before starting up an "anti-Sureno" gang in a state such as Arizona where Norte/Sur shouldn't even logically be a factor?

true to what your saying it should not be a factor but in reality it is. since arizona has and had many fields here needing to be worked alot of farmworkers have come here from cali with teenagers reppin sur or norte, and since arizona is a cheaper place to live many have decided to stay and make a life here. so with no choice but to stay these teenagers click up and meet other teens out here and one thing leads to another and then you have all these kids that have never heard of sur or norte claiming shit with no older homies to school them so where do they turn the internet or music.

Thats exactly how I see it. Im from Cali but been here 5 yrs, and grudges follow you. Moved here cuz my family couldn't afford rent in cali. If thousands of people from all over cali are moving into the west valley of course people are gonna form cliques. But then the people from AZ wanna play groupie. Whats ironic is alot of those fake motherfuckers wanna claim a "norte" hood then go around and say fuck cali. All the norte hoods here don't have any og's except Madison Heights. The hoods been puttin it down since 83' and all the big homies from cali. Don't get me wrong tho, UNG youngsters do what they gotta do and ain't no punks.
